Wanna report back that the Lutron Caseta switches are really the best I've seen. With a hub they are Alexa, Siri and Google Home compatible and they work on their own frequency and don't consume wifi for each switch. They don't have double gang like the Koogeek, however Koogeek only supports Siri (...

Gate controller is done with a microcontroller wired to a remote control.. button is a virtual switch through SmartThings that runs an ifttt command that triggers gpio on the mc through a c++ script that “pushes” the button on a remote.. gate is monitored though the camera that shows a live feed of...

Where did you download the copy of mavericks from? If you don't have any other Mac computer to create the bootable device then use the alternative option that I explained.. If you downloaded a copy you can use an app called disk maker x which would allow you to transfer the downloaded image to either usb or sd card.. My next test would be the device in another environment with different network and Ethernet cable.. That could rule out hardware failure..

I get better or more stable connection when using wired over wireless connection.. If you sure the cable working would advise testing in another setting otherwise there is a slight possibility that the wired Ethernet may be faulty.. Have seen that scenario only once though..

One of my htpc actually is just and older model quad core intel chip (for low rpm fan) running about 4gb ram and a simple nvidia 220 video card with hdmi out.. It running win7 with media center on it.. Works flawless, using a remote to sleep/wake/navigate through media center movie menus.. Great use...
