R33 and two cefiros : want to find the drivers

Northbound from Tarouba flyover. Two Cefiros and a R33 were heading north together on Wednesday afternoon about 16:45. Would like to speak to any of the drivers of any of these vehicles if they're here or anyone knows who they may be please PM me. Need to apologize and explain something to one of th...

Re: SHOW OFF UR EURO

Well yeah. Some had to come from California though. But yeah, delivered to Miami and then sent to trini. I still playing with WG settings to get it right. Had to drop 1st/2nd gear boost also. But almost there. Sound was something I wanted perfect.. and it's quite good, but I don't like all the turbo...

Re: NEW CAR / VEHICLE PRICES IN TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

If you drive a family car how a family car is meant be driven in our weather (no ice/snow) all the passive systems are unnecessary. The airbags would be nice tho. Also a lot of those things are optional abroad too. More safety features can never be a bad thing. Being in an accident does not mean yo...

Re: NEW CAR / VEHICLE PRICES IN TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

A3 at 180hp is faster than the lot and has a tad more legroom in the back seat for those with families. Performance wise the a3 1.8T is almost in the bmw 125i and merc a250 bracket, which are a LOT more expensive than the A3 in TT. not often you can buy the world car of the year in Trinidad for 290...

Get birth certificate or proof of being born from Red House files. Then you'll have passport less than a week after that.

Re: NEW CAR / VEHICLE PRICES IN TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

Nah that is a pic of the Jetta hybrid for the US market. You talking bout the GTI or the regular golf? 450 way to high for a GTI !!! GTI. Thought that's what you asking about. I eh know about the regular one. Last GTI was 390k normal. So quite a big jump IF they really price at 450k. I suspect more...

Asked in Nov last year, and that was the response. Not sure if they brought up the timeline.

Dem Jetta coming with xenons now or they just used that pic?

Re: NEW CAR / VEHICLE PRICES IN TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

That is possibly the least relevant question here. "if they're worth it" depends on the person buying. Not the person looking at them and judging. I was looking for an objective answer. If you look at it that way then every car ever bought by anyone is worth it. That is possibly the least...

Re: The Official Car Care Thread

Why the 4500 sitting around so long? It should still be fine though, keep it. That has very little cut though, so maybe you buy a compound that has a reasonable finish and finish with the 4500 that you already have. Would not recommend attempting to use 4500 for swirl removal.

Re: The Official Car Care Thread

That could go one of two ways. 1. If you're accustomed to swirling up your cars a lot, don't bother to cut if they swirls are very light.. in that event use something like SRP that will hide it a bit, and HDwax combo and wait until it gets a little worse and de-swirl the next time. OR 2. Considering...

Re: NEW CAR / VEHICLE PRICES IN TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

I don't think driving north to service is an issue. Look at how many mercs there are in south. And actually I think you can get the basic service for a Jag in south. It's the special services like every 20000km or whatever, or if something is seriously wrong, that you have to go north. And in that e...

If you take good care of your vehicle, air and drying towels are the way to go. Have not been using Chamois' for a while now. I still have, and some people still prefer them, but I never use them again. If you're going to buy something new, do as Aaron advised and get a drying towel. Air drying is a...

It's easy to forget about reliability when thinking of new cars. All I was thinking of is I want one but good point nemesis. What about resale values locally? Maybe Jags have lower values locally than the competition? I think if you're spending 750+ on a vehicle and are worried about resale, you pr...

Re: NEW CAR / VEHICLE PRICES IN TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

Maybe the price of the jags here might be the issue....men rather spend their money on Audi, BMW and Mercedes and higher end Porsche and Rover. Doubt it. Before the tax changes last year they were actually the cheapest 3.0L euro you could buy. Not what about now, but I'd expect that they all change...

Change the belt. Absolutely no really reliable way around that. And a belt is not something you want in poor condition. Also, stop using purple blaster in your engine bay unless you dilute it like 1:3 or less. In fact I don't recommend it at all. It isn't very friendly to rubber and plastic parts th...

Your relationship with the bank and your negotiations go a long way for rates. I got my lowest at Republic and my sis got her best at Scotia. Depends on your situation.
