Re: LF: Good printer for home

That is tough now with the current crop of printers... Either there is a chip on the print cartridge or the printer/software records the serial number of previously used cartridges and refuses to print with them after a certain number of pages are printed. Reset procedures might work, blocking of ce...

Re: LF: Good printer for home

I think the ink tank printers can give the laser competition in terms of price per print, might not be able to compete in features or quality though For those who can afford it, purchase a HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw (W1A80A). It will print on 4 reams of paper before having to replace the tone...

Re: Minister: Drivers must slow down, Speeding blamed for most road accidents

Great... More slow drivers clogging up our roadways. If he is against speed, why did the speed limit on the highway raise from 80 to 100, Valencia stretch and rivulet road from 50 to 80 and around the queens park savannah from 40(or was it 50) to 65. It is still 50 (40 in some areas) on the San Fern...

First gen was hideous though, and Mercedes technology means Mercedes costly parts. SsangYong wasn't a bad brand per say. Their pickup was ahead of its time which had a 6AT transmission, coil springs, rear disc brakes and availsble sunroof. Only other pickup that came close with a sunroof option was ...

Learn from my mistake; change your engine oil at least every 6 months regardless of mileage...unless the car isn't being started or driven and or the oil is designed to be left in for that length of time or longer. Sister's Civic only does short trips and it took a little over a year to put ~4000Km ...

I remember team AON LPG powered Ford focus in the BTCC some years back tearing it up. Watching a decompression explosion from a CNG tank is scary. I see the comparison to a tank of fuel...a closer comparison might be too that of a CNG vehicle... Both get their power from natural gas; power plants use nat gas to generate electricity

I see the discussion here is more energetic. So a couple of questions 1. Anyone knows how EVs handle surges or low voltage. 2. Can our electricity grid handle the increased demand of people switching to EVs. @ Les Bain Some EVs still have a transmission, differential and/or tranaxle that still requi...
