Re: ****the official CRICKET thread*****

Can't bazball a bowling line up with Hazlewood, Cummins, Boland (Starc in reserve) and a batting lineup that has the #1 - 3 top test batsmen in world cricket currently. And it wasn't even that top 3 which did the heavy lifting for Australia. England usually overrates alot of what they do not only i...

Re: ****the official CRICKET thread*****

That Australia innings was complete ineptitude to be honest from the batters apart from Smith and Marnus, why continue to play the sweep when there are other shots that could have been used, i mean any cross shot will be risky especially against quality spinners. Test cricket needs to be competitive...

I see BC is around so we'll see what impact that has in the future. I did notice a more positive batting approach in the second test from WI, Gabriel didn't look to bad with his rhythm this time around either but we'll see

Re: ****the official CRICKET thread*****

More or less the same squad going to India. My only concern is Bravo, I'm sure it have someone else that could take his place. I think he getting picked as an anchor for the batting, not sure if it makes any sense for the t20s since the batting is fairly long with allrounders but he may prove more ...

Re: ****the official CRICKET thread*****

As a big fan of test cricket I find it difficult to watch this west indies team, and it seems no one cares. Gabriel seems to have lost his rhythm over the last few yrs, his action is out of sync badly and cornwall is still getting picked. I feel it for holder as he is a very good all round cricketer...

I dont think morgan used his spinners wisely today but in my opinion he is an exceptional captain, it also dosent help that csk batting goes deep.

Windies up against the Aussies from the 9th. Let's see what they do My question is why is coach Simmons still there? Pujara is ole school, you dont see players like him anymore , maybe because of IPL , T20 etc. Not good signs for the Windies for the next few years if IND & Aus keep churning out young players like they have. Gill and Pucovski have outstanding technique and timing as opening batters
