Re: Maxxis HP5 - Anyone using it?

Just bought a set, have not taken the shine off as yet only covered about 100 km. Very quiet, smooth ride and responsive to quick steering input. Dry grip is excellent, Did not push it in the wet but feels planted. Purchased at Maxxis Marabella,I bought the 205/55 R16 installed on 16 X 6 rim. Car is...

Re: Ignis Sport + M18A

Devi did the gearbox fit?

Big Z yes I used the M18A injectors. Tried larger injectors but it ran rich and the original ECU was out of range and not able to reduce the fuel.

Re: Ignis Sport + M18A

9.6 to 1. Ideal for a turbo project. I did read that the M18A rods were not as strong as the others in the M range. But the rods are the same as the M16A swift sport rods which are easily found for turbo applications. If the boost is kept low they might work. Also the fan is between the exhaust mani...

Ignis Sport + M18A

Been working on this for my daily driver with great results. Installed M18A with vvt in place of the M15A motor. The M18A compression ratio is lower than the original engine and the car runs fine on super. Used the original harness and ECU and the car runs a little leaner at part throttle but fine w...

RRP 5th High Gear in Ignis Sport

Changed my 5th gear with the RRP 5th and went from 100km at 3500 rpm to 3000 rpm. About a 500 rpm drop. The great part was that I did not have to remove the gearbox from the car to change 5th. The car is now quiet and the engine not as busy on the motorway. For the swift guys who complain about the ...
