Depends on the location of the tank & the species you keep. i regulate mine for my Discus. Good to have a thermometer on the tank to make sure that the temp is tolerable for the type of fish you keep.
That's the plan so far @ seeding the tank with some media from an established tank. Will see how it goes.
i realised most people get away with doing so as long as they don't overstock the tank. Don't intend on doing so either. Will start off slowly & see how the levels read. Thanks again.
