2009 Jetta , a good buy?

Hi, looking for some advice, I'm thinking about buying a 2009 Jetta with the TSI engine (the model with the headlamps similar to the golf). I read some good reviews online regarding the performance of the TSI and handling of the Jetta, but also read that some had issues with the transmission. Would ...

Re: Help with subwoofer box? Thx

your box program calculated a volume of about 2.5cu. ft. you can play with the overall dimensions to get the desired shape/footprint you want as long as its close to 2.5cu. ft. internal volume, you must subtract the volume of the port also A 4" round port would be fine anything bigger would nee...

Re: Tapped-Horns for "Gallery Style" bass

I'm currently trying to come up with a tapped horn for a home use using a 15" driver faital pro 15Hp1010, I have simmed it in hornresp an it looks good down to 32hz its kinda large though. Took me some time to figure how to fold it but I think I figured it out in autoCAD. It would have a footpr...

Re: Two 8fe200 Faital Pro paired with..

I too was wondering why 8" + 6" when the faital pro 8fe200 seems to do well from 80hz to 2khz by itself. maybe something to do with "upper midbass" & "lower midbass" I'm using the faital pro HF100 and STH100 horn with the 8fe200 and they work well together if cost i...

Faital Pro for 2way

Would the Faital Pro 8fe200 be a good choice for a woofer in a two way setup for home audio? Would it go down to 80hz without distortion and would it go up to around 3khz without cone breakup? I would be using a folded horn sub that can be crossed at 100hz if 80hz is too low for the faital pro's my ...

Re: Make your own woofer tester for less than $20

Very nice find, been looking for something like this to measure TS specs on a cheap 15" MTE Woofer.

By chance would anyone have specs on this driver I think its the SHS 158 model I tried contacting the manufacturer but no response
