Good evening guys, My 12000btu split pioneer AC is icing up. I checked the outdoor unit and the thinner line is freezing. What would cause this and what’s the cost to remedy it?
UNC will win. Cast your ballot in support of better governance. Performance beats "ole talk." Unsuccessful people blame others for their failures, which is all pnm did for 5 years.
I seriously laughed at “redvevo” up above and the negative comment about peake units considering that I’ve had My peake unit for 7 years and only serviced once. The unit is cold as can be and trouble free, all I do is clean the filters once per month.
Thanks for the insight “nervewrecker” you seem very apt in your knowledge of Airconditioning. What’s your perspective on McQuay units? I asked this question a couple pages back but no one responded to it.
I had a 36000 btu McQuay by Daikin Applied installed by Neil Kool November 2017. The outdoor unit has copper fins and works really good. I have no issues.
I hear you guys and I know that Hilti is a brand; however, the general hammering tool to burst walls and concrete floors is generalized as “hilti” in Trinidad when what it actually is called is a demolition hammer and NOT a “rotary drill with chipping capability.
I agree with using the cheap batteries in remotes and also wall clocks. I am now down to 2 brands which are Lennox 36000btu or McQuay 36000btu the McQuay is actually more expensive and was told that it is the same as Daikin.
