Re: FOR SALE: FED UP

Another thing, if it’s a car that you’re planning to buy, it’s your right to ask as ma...

Re: Idling problems

Thank you very much “HOOK”, that was very enlightening, YES! Some of the lancers comes carbureted, my one is a 4G15 double over head cam fuel injected. On the instrument panel it has an engine check light which comes off every time I start the car. So that should indicate that there isn’t any proble...

Re: Idling problems

This car has been used every day for the last 4-5 years, it starts very good in the morning, the IAC valve is not the problem, when it’s hot or in traffic, sometimes the car idles so low that it cuts off. However when the idle screw is adjusted, everything is ok for a couple of months then it drops ...

Idling problems

Hay fellers, I have a CK2 lancer, approximately 2 years ago it started i.e. my car engine idle dropped, I did a tune-up and had to adjust the throttle body manually, Q – is this the correct way? Since them approximately every 6 months, I have to manually turn up the idle because it keeps dropping of...

Re: HELP: Heavy vibration from my transmission.

Yeah fellers, the tyres which I had on the car had approximately 20 to 30% life still, but for argument sake, I went and bought new ones, the car has the original aluminum staggered rims. Same vibration. The vibration which I am experiencing it’s felt more from the transmission, but closer to the le...

Re: HELP: Heavy vibration from my transmission.

Sliderz1 - the car is orignal, if it didn't have "hub centric rings" installed from the firm, then there isn't any, By the way the rims are orignal.

Re: HELP: Heavy vibration from my transmission.

I will keep that in mind, but if my tyres need balancing, would I feel it at high speeds and wouldn’t it show-up on my steering wheel ?

Additional info, there is no issue with shimming in the steering system.

Any more feedback is welcome ----- lol

HELP: Heavy vibration from my transmission.

Fellers, ah getting real problems with my premera, it has a SR20 engine and tranny, everything was fine until my first transmission the clutches were burnt, so I bought a foreign use one and had it changed. The change out process took beyond 7 days, so my warranty was up. The problem is when driving...

Re: CS3 Gas gage problem

My advice – you have 2 option 1. don’t bother changing it, it’s a manufactures problem. You can average your gas mileage.
2. you can do some modification by replacing it with a CK2 fuel gauge, those work very well.
