personally ill tell you go with the p3, this sub can rele perform and lasts southside connections has done an amazing single 12 p3 install for me and the box he built which i think was tuned to 32-33 Hz... gave some incredible lows, even he was surprised himslef.

run another optima to the trunk and run some 0guage instead of 4guage! i have a similar prob my voltage actually droppin to 10volts lol. wen d bass note kiks in wile drivin the a/c blows hi/low lites dim and acceleration iz sumtimes a prob d car mite even want to cut if i accel to fast.
