it have the potential to be very economical tho,...

i had a QR25DE with the 6spd tranny....
i would consistently get over 600km from a 40L tank if i drove it easy....

ive seen some pretty quick 08 Si's....
minor mods, just breathing really, intake/header/exhaust
K-pro is always good too....

but not as bad as u seem to be crying dem down...

i was never a huge fan of Mugen....a little too commercially tied to Honda

for a car like the gtr, it makes sense to have perf shops produce these parts because the main market will be ppl who want to increase performance....

front airdam does do the same thing but they are more for forced induction systems, the side vents allow the air that enters to escape more rapidly creating a consistent flow of cooler air thereby cooling the engine.

the 04's were prolly the best ones produced, not because i had one, but the gearing was too short in 1st/2nd for the 02/03 models...
that was fixed for the 04 model year...

the one major improvement....

nissan changed the front bumper styling for the 04+ models...

great cars...
with some basic bolt ons i actually passed a couple 350z's at one lapping day...

suspension is definitely their strength...

PIC coilovers if u can source them,....

designed so u can adjust the height w/o sacrificing the shock travel...
u dont get that harsh ride associated with coilovers

i never had issues with the KVR's... the regular run for me was toronto - new york and they hold up great... very little fade and stopping power was relatively a bit better than stock... i used OEM rotors and had no complaints, im sure slotted/crossdrilled would be much better, esp when it comes to ...

there are many side vents available for other cars that can be custom fitted to your specific car.... caddilac escalade range rover HSE bmw z3 and the list can go on.... jus check the styles and see what suits your taste.... once installed in the proper area, it will provide form and function...
