Re: Pros and Cons of new 1.4 tsi Jetta

The Hankooks are Ventus S1 Evo2 225/45/17s. I picked up the car in March 2013, so not sure if thats what came with that batch. I really like the road feel, so i'd like to change to another set. Looks like I still have a while to go on the initial set but I've heard they've hard to get locally tho. R...

Re: Pros and Cons of new 1.4 tsi Jetta

Silly question of course.....maybe i don't drive it hard enough. But the TSI/DSG combination has me hooked. Thanks for ...

fenders just don't do it for me yes. Like they say...everyone has their own preference. Plus...i'm partial to my floyd rose....no matter how fricked up they are to keep in tune. Good thing the new edge zeros don't do it as much. Gibson i will try.....their neck scale really gives a diff feel to play...

Actually what you have shares the same mechanism as the vintage kluson style, the difference is the ones you have use a normal modern style string post instead of the split post on the old klusons. REAL vintage klusons work amazingly well, but modern replacements never seem as good. Audiocon carrie...

For amp simulation IMO...you cant beat the line6 POD line up. Been checking opinions on these multieffects units. The Digitech was OK...but the POD XT and X3 were the leaders in cheap amp sim. Although imo still cant beat a good tube amp. Simulation still doesn't sound close enought. Esp when trying...
