Re: recommend a small 2ohm stable mono

ssc & fd3s the amps are pretty nice I must say, read pretty good reviews about that brand too but sadly no 2 ohm stable mono's. :( shakes and soundboy, new brand it must be and kicker a bit on the pricey side. Saw one in the DX series iirc that meets the criteria. The amp is 2 ohm stable and al...

Re: *** THE OFFICIAL HOME THEATER & AUDIO THREAD**

^ yes the Logitech Harmony 900 is very simple to setup you only need to set it up once. You plug the remote into your PC, enter the model number of the device you want to control (Such as LG LS240CP Air Condition) and it transfers all the controls to the Harmony 900 universal remote. you can now ad...

Thanks Duane. Currently looking for universal remote options. I like your harmony 900 but its been out a while now and there are rumours of logitech refreshing their line up this year.
Anything comparable I should be looking at?

I'd love to know how a genuine speaker with a USD msrp of $45-$50 sells for...$150-$199TTD here? Come on rovin don't be so naive, because you sell it...that understandable though. Beware of bootleg brah. Sure there is wholesale price but alot of these "importers" know how to evade full im...

Re: Kickpanel midranges, a thing of the past?

Logic 7 can be used without a center channel but rear channels are necessary. This configuration only allows single seat listening position though. Have this setup so in my car and it is enjoyable IMO. L7 seems to make the soundfield larger and seem less like listening in a car (on some tracks more ...

Re: Kickpanel midranges, a thing of the past?

Path length would be less of an issue if one could implement a center channel which could play as low as LR channels.
In the case of logic7, freqs below the center channel hpf will be directed to the LR channels and sub in which case equal PLD would help.

Re: Capacitor and resistor on Tweeter?

The resistor would attenuate the tweeter. Try with and without the resistor connected. Go with which sounds best to you. More than likely the tweeter would be more sensitive than the midrange thus the tweeter may sound louder than the mid without the resistor connected. Definitely use the cap, which...

Re: Discussion: Bridging Reduces Sq

Lots of guys in the lanes today bridge amps. Tbh, there is a lot more to pay attention to, i.e. installation and tuning, than worrying about amp distortion. Endorsed. From my experience I prefer the increased headroom gained from bridging. My system improved in impact and dynamics and I have yet to...
