Mine is "503 KPJ......." but the problem is the screen sometimes locks-up and non-responsive to touches. Have to remove battery to reset and it's ok again. Wonder if that 's a factory defect too? Should I return directly to LG or to seller on Amazon? Will observe device for any deteriorati...
Hmmm...."LES the TEST" constantly drives like a tool: always in a hurry & bad-driving ppl east-west on highway especially Trincity to P.O.S. Maybe he need to buy bread fuh he mudda?
Guys, Scenario: 1. Trying to shift into Second gear is causing gear-clashing. (All other gears work well) 2. The clutch friction disc is pretty worn out after 80k kilometers & needs replacing. Questions: 1. Would a worn clutch cause gear-clashing? OR is the 1-2 synchro f-ed up & needs replac...
Yup, that's correct! Got caught in a skid at 6:30 whilst approaching hump. Good thing I wasn't pushing over 30 km/h !! Seems that someone disposed of used oil in their garbage & the rubbish truck compactor did the rest .... leaving an oil slick on the road! Did a small burnout after the hump to ...
Then get your mechanic to remove & service the caliper - maybe a spring / clip is missing OR the pistons rusted & need cleaning up? Maybe your pads need replacing too?
Toyota tuners, Does anyone have the FRONT seat belt locks for a Corolla? (The two stumpy fittings between the front seats.) Mines need replacing before the police find me  . Someone may have them lying around on a shelf or still attached to some old seats that were replaced with 4pt harness e...
(Wow, this is a blast from the past.) Honestly, I left the old tranny by the mech & he probably never tore it apart to pin-point the problem. Once the replacement worked, we were too happy to worry about the old one. 8-) Car was sold since 2008 & AFAIK it still performing good with new owner.
The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise the public that the opening of the Priority Bus Route (PBR) trial has been extended for a further six (6) months, commencing Saturday January 1, 2011, to Thursday June 30, 2011. This six-month extension would allow all private registered motor veh...
Yeh fellas, Ah get thru .......... for the sum of $28.00 (four "1.5" rubber caps & two hose clips). I removed the two hoses which ran from the engine to the firewall. Capped the metal lines on engine & secured with screw- type hose clips to prevent any leaks under pressure. Capped ...
Aye Hook, I have no probs capping off the pipes near the firewall. But on the engine side, I feel to bridge both lines (instead of capping off) to allow continued water flow, because 20 valves seem to generate a fair amount of heat.
Lately I have noted the scent of coolant inside my car especially when the blower is on. I see two hoses going through the firewall & wonder: 1. why the coolant has to run inside the car 2. how to solve this possible coolant leak way up behind the dash ?? BTW I haven't seen any signs of wet carp...
OK fellas....... Either bolt loosens or Crankshaft buss or power handle bend Question now is who has a pulley puller (near Tunapuna) after bolt slackens?? (Yes, I am cheap & prefer to learn to help myself, rather than check a bonafide mechanic shop)
Fellas, Am at my wit's end here: Trying to slacken the Crank pulley bolt on a blacktop (in order to change the timimg belt & tensioner).. not for hell i can't get it slackened!! i tried power handle... tried using a dewalt impact driver.. nothing works that nut just don't want to slacken at all.... ...
Did a lil troubleshooting: am getting a spark from the coil lead but not from the Spark plug leads. seems that the distrib cap is faulty but i can't be sure unles i try another cap. Does anyone have a used cap lying around?
Hunting for a good dizzy for BT 20v ....... I suspect mine blew out yesterday. Car started misfiring then let out a huge backfire with puff of black smoke & engine died. Tumbles but cannot start  Anchored in Tunapuna FTW. Can the ignition module in the dzzy be replaced? If so, where might I fi...
I'm searching for a restrictor insert to fit a 4" barrel. The one in my car was held in place with a bolt & nut but it apparently went slack (or someone tampered with it) & fell out. Car is now too loud! Some tuners tend to remove this fitting and have it lying around the garage, so i'm hopin...
Pal, It don't matter if your mech is a "Nissan man"....... He should be able to inspect the engine and determine if you buying a headache. Look at it this way: If it was a nissan engine with the "slush build-up", would he advise you to still buy it? He is the man to tell you if he could clean it up ...
For mine at least, at the current 85,000 kms mileage, it's probably an indication of impending re-build at 100,000kms cause I certainly don't "pet up" my car.
Terran, Anytime I'm running the 20V really hard, the VVT action is always accompanied with a puff of black smoke out the back i.e. if I stomp on the gas at 2-3k RPM, the car gets hauling and as soon as it crosses 5-6k RPM there is a puff of fuel - rich smoke ..... followed by the * POP * as I let of...
can a 20v beat a 1.5 cvt 3stage vtech?? 3 stage......4 stage...... whatever...... Although the CVT implies near perfect gear ratios / selection, it won't outrun a manual 20V. ....... while the CVT is "winding up" ...... the Slowyota would jump ahead. A fairer fight would be against a 20v w/a...
When driving, upon reaching 160km the car dies off :? .....when i drop speed it picks up again.Another time, upon reaching the 160 km i decided to hold it down.....the car reach 160km,died off and i still kept my foot on the peddle. It picked up back for itself went to the 180km and then cut again,whic...
(Agree with Tsuchiya's post) My 4AGE came w/TODA flywheel & 3-puck copper disk (I expected to see a TRD part at most !) Anyway, an ACT 6-puck copper disk was installed without any "negative vibrations" Perhaps your flywheel needs re-installing, proper torqueing with all correct bolts after inspectin...
