Re: Owners of LG G4

Mine is "503 KPJ......." but the problem is the screen sometimes locks-up and non-responsive to touches. Have to remove battery to reset and it's ok again. Wonder if that 's a factory defect too? Should I return directly to LG or to seller on Amazon? Will observe device for any deteriorati...

Help - Corolla C160 (6fwd) gearbox (w/BT 20v)

Guys, Scenario: 1. Trying to shift into Second gear is causing gear-clashing. (All other gears work well) 2. The clutch friction disc is pretty worn out after 80k kilometers & needs replacing. Questions: 1. Would a worn clutch cause gear-clashing? OR is the 1-2 synchro f-ed up & needs replac...

Re: Warning Slippery Road - Watts St East

Yup, that's correct! Got caught in a skid at 6:30 whilst approaching hump. Good thing I wasn't pushing over 30 km/h !! Seems that someone disposed of used oil in their garbage & the rubbish truck compactor did the rest .... leaving an oil slick on the road! Did a small burnout after the hump to ...

Then get your mechanic to remove & service the caliper - maybe a spring / clip is missing OR the pistons rusted & need cleaning up? Maybe your pads need replacing too?

Toyota tuners, Does anyone have the FRONT seat belt locks for a Corolla? (The two stumpy fittings between the front seats.) Mines need replacing before the police find me  . Re: Primera CVT M6 tranny mash up now

(Wow, this is a blast from the past.) Honestly, I left the old tranny by the mech & he probably never tore it apart to pin-point the problem. Once the replacement worked, we were too happy to worry about the old one. 8-) Car was sold since 2008 & AFAIK it still performing good with new owner.

Re: Smelling COOLANT inside car ?

Yeh fellas, Ah get thru .......... for the sum of $28.00 (four "1.5" rubber caps & two hose clips). I removed the two hoses which ran from the engine to the firewall. Capped the metal lines on engine & secured with screw- type hose clips to prevent any leaks under pressure. Capped ...

Re: Smelling COOLANT inside car ?

Aye Hook,
I have no probs capping off the pipes near the firewall.
But on the engine side, I feel to bridge both lines (instead of capping off) to allow continued water flow, because 20 valves seem to generate a fair amount of heat.

Smelling COOLANT inside car ?

Lately I have noted the scent of coolant inside my car especially when the blower is on. I see two hoses going through the firewall & wonder: 1. why the coolant has to run inside the car 2. how to solve this possible coolant leak way up behind the dash ?? BTW I haven't seen any signs of wet carp...

I guess I'll hit a "mid-range" compromise with some Mobil1 70-90W Synth. because the car is basically a daily driver to & from work.

BTW how many quarts/liters? and do I fill oil thru the speedo cable hole or is there a dedicated fill point ?

Help plz: AE111 Gearbox oil change ?

Would like to change the fluid in my AE111 C160 gearbox (a lil self-help thing nah)

Can anyone advise on:
1) Best oil to use? Brand & weight?
2) Technique in refilling the oil? Is it thru the speedo cable attachment location?

Any other pointers?

Thanks.
