I think after 1 year it's mandatory to do over the test. However as noted above in TT if you have a contact at licensing it could potentially be done. You should go down this week early and see as it shouldn't be too busy because either way you have to fill out forms etc.

Doubt you would get an entry level job in IT that pays close to 12k might be closer to 8k...it might be easier to get an internal transfer to your company's IT dept.?
