Re: Opinions: Best/way to boost octane or run engine safely

If you are looking at water meth kits Aquamist is best, you can tap into your IDC and have the controller spray proportional to your IDC. You can do this and basically have A ratio of meth injected per gas used, this won't require much if any tuning if a the right size jet is used.

Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 - Good wet/dry traction. Quiet on highway. Gives fair indication of breakaway point. Sidewall is not very stiff. Minimal tramlining. Overall good everday tire. Toyo Proxes RA-1 - Great dry traction. Poor wet traction. Tolerable roadnoise on highway. Good indication of breaka...

I have been using AMSOIL 10w-40 in my car, switched to AMSOIL 20w-50 at last oil change.
Most 10w-30 oils tend to burn off in my case, even the AMSOIL 10w-30 showed some loss.

if ur windscreen already has a crack in it that is deep enough, the heat can cuase this crack to spread over time...also the cool of the night and heat of the day and the expansion and contraction of the glass can lead to the small crack developing into a bigger crack over time or even over night!

these tires feel great, grip in the dry is excellent, havent tried it in the wet and probably willl not push it in the wet.
it is a bit bouncy however the level of grip, feedback and breakaway tendencies are very very good!
i would recommend them to any evo driver! :!:

most of the 3rd generation evos (evo7-9) are interchangable....so they aren't hard to get especially since mitsu start selling them in the us.
and yes the timing belt issue is as dave said 60K miles or 100K kms. (i made sure and checked this as my evo has now crossed 60K kms and i did the research).
