This might sound like a stupid question, but how do you change the lights behind the speedometer of a Tiida? I removed the cluster and there is no typical twist off bulb sockets like on other cars with T10 and T5 bulbs. All I see is the flat circuit board. Only the speedometer light isn't working, t...
sMASH...the issue was found, but along the way i did ground the RCA and the noise disappeared with the car switched off. However once the switch was turned on the noise came back and when started the noise was worse (from a consistent annoying noise it turned to engine noise when grounded). fuzz, th...
FYI: the reason I say puzzling is because the 6XS was the only device that highlighted the noise. All other amps worked well when connected on these same cables.
My friends are lame- no one has a 6XS lol Puzzling as it seems, I pulled the HU today: 1) moved the ground and same issue 2) ran a spare RCA cable outside to the 6XS and all is well. Turns out the front to back RCAs were introducing noise somehow. I was careful not to put power and signal closeby, b...
So running the 6XS external on a cell phone source and a spare amp I get no noise. Returning to the car and grounding the RCA gets rid of the frequency-increasing whine, but as I start the car there is terrible engine noise. Running the phone output into the 6XS in the car (disconnecting all leads f...
The 6XS ground is to a point in the trunk. I even moved the ground to different valid points and run a direct +12V to a trunk battery with no change. I got to a point t that I even disconnected the two trunk batteries altogether. I will have to make up a system outside the car shortly to test the 6X...
To bypass the 6XS I used double sided female connectors to join the cables. When bypassed there is no noise so the source and RCA are fine. I'll try a direct REM later today, but that same signal goes to all the amps and cause no noise there. Thanks
I have a question regarding a 6XS I have which I've diagnosed to be introducing noise into my system. The noise isn't a hiss or pop, but rather an increasing frequency noise (the only thing I can imagine it to be is like a capacitor being charged like a gradual build up) then after a couple minutes ...
Or...install over head cameras and eye level cameras. Nobody expects an eye level camera so if they are avoiding looking up or wearing a cap they will be exposed. Another good tactic is to put a camera next to an item of interest, so anyone who glances in that direction will be captured. Next to a t...
Looking for someone who can weld polyurethane, preferably in south Trinidad. I have a bumper lip to install but it requires cutting, shortening and re-joining to work properly. I may just require the welding services to join the pieces afterwards.
lol...Roston prices nice but the man don't have these types of tyres.
Toyo Proxies PXTS....anyone use these before. I can't find anything like that on-line and that's what the guy told me from MM. Closest thing I seeing is PXt1R but I doubt somebody so badly off to make that mistake.
Mileage Mack has toyo proxies (not sure which) for $1095 ea. KURMAman, Ramrattans has Potenza R760 for $1,500 ea. and Sumitomo Ziii for $900, thanks. Import is not an option this time since I had a flat this morning and won't really wait so long again. I didn't even know there was a Jacks in sando b...
2nrs, Need to change 4 tyres either tomorrow or weekend. Didn't settle on a specific model yet but looking for where has the best prices in general so I can check them.
2nrs, reviving this old thread instead of creating a new as I am interested of purchasing one of these cars at this time. I haven't seen any definitive feedback on the gas consumption in the thread though. For a daily driver from south to POS and back this a concern for me when choosing between the ...
Go lower tuned. If this is for a room I don't get why there has to be a big size trade off though. You can look at loading the sub in a corner or a wall. That can boost your low frequency output.
