Legal Checks when purchasing land

Tuners, I'm attempting to make a downpayment on a parcel of land, but wanted to perform a search to verify that the land is legally owned by the person attempting to sell it to me. Their agent sent me to someone at the Ministry of Legal Affairs office who they said would perform the search, but on r...

FD1 gas mileage

FD1 guys, what engine do you have (1.6L or 1.8L) and how much KMs do you get from a tank of super from full to empty?

Currently getting about 400km on average on a tank with my 1.6, around $145 to fill up.. seems poor to me.

Opinions?

Re: Asking any and everything about frontier - HELP / ADVICE

D22 ZD30DDT My boost gauge reads 0 vacuum on idle. Pressure reading is taken on the intake manifold after the throttle body. When playing with the two actuators located on the throttle body, vacuum could be manipulated. Question: What are those two actuators on the throttle body for? I saw that the ...

Re: Asking any and everything about frontier - HELP / ADVICE

So guys... any of the ZD30 guys ever had to service your fuel pump? Having some issues with a loud "clacking" noise from cold start, which goes away after i pump up the primer pump. Also if parked on an incline, after starting, the diesel line from the primer to the engine gets emptied and...

Re: Asking any and everything about frontier - HELP / ADVICE

Guy above ^ check bobby's in the bamboo if u didn't get a back bumper yet. So, have some questions for u guys: Any of u guys running poly bushings on your cradles/leaf springs? If so... how severely does this worsen the common bouncy ride experienced with these vans? Is it wise to replace the origin...

Re: D22 Frontier diff knocking

Good info lighthammer

What diff does the YD25 and TD27 versions come with? And does the diff vary among the 4x4 and 4x2 models?

That's some important info we should have up here for reference. Could save a lot of people some trouble given the type of information some people give down here.

Re: D22 Frontier diff knocking

So the verdict: Took sliderz advice and used what his manual recommended Nothing appeared to be damaged in the diff when opened, cleaned out the 85W/90 and used 85W/140 instead and the knocking stopped immediately. Despite speaking to many "mechanics" and "car experts", and about...

D22 Frontier diff knocking

Had a leak in my diff sump, so I resealed it and put in fresh bel ray LSD 90 oil, but now I get a knocking noise when i'm turning slowly eg. reversing out of my yard or parking etc. Someone told me the same thing happens to his frontier with belray/redline oil, and that NP or Castrol works better an...

ZD30 sudden loss of power/boost?

I was giving my ZD30 a good run tonight, hitting 15psi boost, when all of a sudden my revs dropped, boost cut down to about 10-11psi and i felt an obvious loss in power... now from pull off to around 3k RPM in the van runs as normal, but struggles upward and starts to feel lazy... it's maxing out at...

Re: Frontier 3.2 & 3.0 Turbo fuel mileage

I recently bought a D22 frontier with a ZD30T but on $90 in diesel (fulls tank past F) I only get around 450km. Engine seems well maintained and runs well (at least to me it does).. But should there be cause for concern? I think that my engine is very heavy on diesel seeing the above comments which ...

Re: SR20DE+T Rough idle when warm

figured u would ask that, i got a DET ECU and airflow borrowed, didnt even need to use the AFC with that set up (as expected) but still had the idle problem... this problem existed even before the engine was converted to DE+T though, ever since it was bought NA from bamboo.

Re: SR20DE+T Rough idle when warm

I agree, but thats the least of my problems right now, the car runs well with it on 7psi boost for now. I will eventually upgrade to an emanage when i'm ready to go up in power but my main issue right now is the idle problem, and for sure its not related to the AFC. I dunno what to try again :/
