How did the freight + vat + customs + opt impact you vs buying a similar system locally?

Re: Lorex/Swann CCTV DIY system. PoE or BNC?

Did this research about 1.5 yrs ago and went with a SWANN NVR8-7085 system (wired IP system). Not from Pricesmart. Responses using your number sequence: 1. Very easy to setup and use. Had some camera failures but that was due to rain on the RJ45 connectors. 2. Did not require a static IP address. Re...

Re: WTK: BEST TV BOX

Running a GBox Q2 since Feb from RHD. Yes I could have bought a basic box and set up but the convenience of just calling him and asking for a reset when the iptv subscription gives trouble was worth the extra. Has happened twice and he resolved it in 5 minutes each time. Good post-sale service IMHO.

Vehicle "break in" spots

Knowledge is power and your loss may help someone else in the future. We all know the usual vehicle theft spots like shopping malls, grocery, etc. But perhaps reminders are required every so often. Or in my case, a learning experience... I went on a charity (cancer patient) boat cruise on the coral ...

That's the manual.

It refers to white (phase) and blue (neutral) though.
In my experience with South American wiring, white is usually the live conductor and the darker colour is the neutral.

Re: Tech Thread - Nissan Frontier, Navara, Pathfinder.

I've heard the noise but always thought it was the fuel line pressure relief valve on the fuel cap. It's supposed to open when equalizing pressure in the fuel system as the fuel temperature changes. As far as performance - my power varies between hot and cool ambient temperatures. But that seems log...

Re: WTK: Es 8 shutting down in traffic

I had this problem and it ended up being a clogged fuel filter...

There is a bag type filter on the suction to the fuel pump in the gas tank. Cleaned it out n it worked perfectly after that...

But my experience may not be your experience.

Think they stock the Amsoil Injector Cleaner instead of the Diesel Concentrate for some time now. I mix the injector cleaner with the cetane boost.

Re: Rear Seat Belt for Lancer A17_ (a.k.a. Box Lancer)

As far as I found the legislation for rear seatbelts was introduced globally as early as 1989. A17s were produced from 1979-1986, perhaps later in other markets. Personally, I have never seen any rear seatbelts in a box lancer. My suggestion: retrofit from another vehicle. The anchor points are the ...
