Re: 600 lose jobs at Arcelor Mital

The bid to buy the plant and the purposed injection into the business to get it up and running would be different costs. It will be a gradual restart from DRI plants then meltshop, once up and running T&TEC should be in a gear.

Re: Cost of a clay block wall

Quick question to Op, where is the land and type of soil will vary your cost. If you have to auger, trench and backfill money is different and as Mr Rspann said the concrete blocks will offset your cost a bit. I did a retaining wall to back fill and then followed with HC blocks plastered the inside ...

Re: Garbage in Shark River

Just start placing litter wardens with body cams and deal with those fools, how hard is it to walk with a garbage bag or two and clean up after yourself. We all create the situation where we know what we are is doing sheit but will do it until we are forced not to and then made to pay for something ...

Re: Looking for used power tools

My lil 2cents on the topic, do you have a budget for the tools in question with a deadline to get them?. Reason being is the best brand tool is worthless with the cheapest consumables, a quality blade on a cheap saw will make short work of a task compared to high end tool with a shitty blade. So buy...

Corded impact guns are big and bulky, the cordless options are impressive and compact so you can jack up a car and work on suspension bolts where as a corded will need the car to be really high to work on. Makes my Milwaukee corded look like a dinosaur, bought it yrs ago to do axles and shocks on my...

My Milwaukee and Dewalt 4.5 paddle are beasts, almost lost a toe with one. Both bought from Baghwansingh, the Milwaukee is from when they had good heavy duty stuff. The Dewalt was the 2 from $1000 bought with a friend, works ok for my needs. But side note Ted, don't you have cordless tools already?,...

Re: Now I know why 50Km/h seems slow.

The limits are there for safety of everyone, respect them and all is well. You should try stopping from 50KPH to zero suddenly and then put it in perspective as to why there are limits, but you can drive faster pay your tickets and then with the demerit system you can travel  .

Re: Power recommendations 24V DC

If you could state the current draw, Rpm and use of the motor it would help, if it is starting at full load then the supply will need to handle it. Then there is the question of money, how much it going to cost you and how much you willing to put out. Solutions are abound from the simple use of 12vo...
