Turn on the system and controller, and there is a small hole on the back of the controller, that is a reset button, take a pin and press it and hold it for a few seconds and then connect back to the system, should work normal after that. Had the same problem and that fixed it If it still doesnt work...

Have a problem with my ps3 slim and super slim

Slim - was using it and the screen went blank and since then cannot get any display. The console comes on, able to put in and eject cd.

Super slim - comes on and cuts off right after
