Re: Day Traders - Forex Market

MG, what charting software you use to generate those charts? I use MT4 from Oanda, and a backup from Alpari UK, just for friday stop hunts, and increased liquidity with big news. Looking at the EU, the sideways motion have me wondering whats next. Just waiting for a break either long or short. Since...

cutthroat, so far all sounds good. Just need to let us know the prayers used... :D . From my experience, NKK works great. I've had years of service from my setup, and thats under a lot of abuse. (pulling vehicles, feed, etc ). But that aside, i don't think that the turbo can affect the brake and clu...

Re: can a 4M40 turbo work on a 4D56??

the rebuild cost close to $1900TT. Guys who did my rebuild were recommended by someone from the mitsu forums, I dropped the unit about 2230 one evening and it was ready about 0900 the next day. The guy even helped us remove the turbo from the manifold as well as scrap the unit on a van tray at that ...

Re: Increased boost on Mitsubishi 4D56

Rear disc brakes on the K14 would seem a bit overkill. Whilst one can never have too much braking power, having the rear brakes of an unbalanced vehicle lock up seems a bit unnerving, as the vehicle does not skid forward but more tends to want to skid of the road. (Prado diff in Charmant experience)...

Re: can a 4M40 turbo work on a 4D56??

Instead of buy a different turbo, how about rebuilding the turbo that came of the van? I had a K74 unit rebuilt locally and installed on my van, and 30000 MILES later its still going strong. My engine gets abused on a daily basis, doing about 8000 MILES a month at least. Some days i don't switch of ...

Re: L200 owners........what are your experiences???

My last quote on rebuilding the 4D56T estimated about $6000. That the all inclusive figure.. liners, pistons etc. I find it to be a bit high, considering you can get a good enough 4D56T for about 9500 with a smile and a lot of negotiating. But so far, i have driven other engines he has rebuilt, and ...

Re: Increased boost on Mitsubishi 4D56

As for the rear conversion from drum to disc should be interesting... maybe i'll peep into that. I've installed Surf and Prado Diff in a few vehicles, so i see no problem in this. BUT IS IT WORTH THE TROUBLE? I know the outer oil seals from the K14 diff are the same as the H100. I only buy original ...

Re: L200 owners........what are your experiences???

We installed the 280C (L28) shroud on the van, and with a new NPW clutch fan, temperature seems to be fairly consistent. As for using the smaller condenser for the AC from the E24 van, i've also decided to scrap that idea and use AC only when it is raining. Another problem, at about 120-130 the van ...

Re: L200 owners........what are your experiences???

As for my van, i have a K14 single cab, aka " THE FARMALL". The temperature gauge i bought came with its own sensor and "calibrated" gauge, so regardless of diesel or gas engine, it gives the temperature the sensor is picking up. Comparing my 4d56 temp under normal operating cond...

Re: a 1JZ/2JZ question, I'm sure most of u asked it too.

I'd recommend DERALE fans, as from my experience, 1 14" fan can keep a 4D56-T cool under EXTREMELY SPIRITED DRIVING!!! Also, make sure your radiator is in good condition, with no kinked or damaged fins... Get a 3 core cross flow, its worth it, try to have an external trans-cooler which is mount...

Re: L200 owners........what are your experiences???

After the first engine change due to overheating (Cracked head), I installed an aftermarket water temp gauge( complete with separate sensor) on my 4D56, just as a backup in case the original sensor decided to fail again. Recently, under VERY HEAVY LOAD, the temperature gauge starting rising to tempe...

Re: truck kills man in fyzabad

It seems a bit strange that the outrigger dislodged itself, and swung out and struck the guy. Firstly, all outriggers are hydraulic powered. Hence, how can this move whilst the truck is driving and the PTO is not engaged? Secondly, if it did come loose whilst on a corner, i think the driver would be...

To the best of my knowledge, BMW diffs aren't that really "strong" per say, to handle abuse from high HP engines. From our experience, RB20DET usually pushes the limit, much less 1JZ and 2JZ. So the questions arises, WHAT HE DO TO THE DIFF and HOW HE DO IT.... cuz i know a lot of tuners are looking ...

Naks, RX80, the 280 ZX is IRS... at least from the only 2 that i have been under. The entire rear subframe including cradles, seems almost similar to the setup from the IRS 910 blue bird. Again, the IRS can't take much abuse, as i've seen a RB25DET tear apart the original 3rd member. Once again, R32...

In my case, my project consisted of a MX73 ( IRS RX70 cressida) mated to a 2jzgte tranny, used as a daily driver. After a few months of hard launches, lunatic driving, occasional attempted drift sessions, and "lighting it " here, there and everywhere else, the diff just gave up. A few days spent ide...
