No brainer really...prado....better reliability,resale, etc. Obviously the q7 would be more expensive in terms of parts, service etc...also with our diesel down here the Prado holds up better than the q7. Though the q7 has more features over the Prado, it's prone to more issues as it ages. My advice...

What is the actual charging process? Are they taking your info and mailing ticket or are they coming after you one time once your caught going over the speed limit....

More than likely is a fuel pump issue... Had this issue alr with a sti, when i cornering it tends to die out a little and when straightening up it gets bk to normal.... If i take the corner easy though its normal as if nothing is wrong

Could possibly be a bad temp.gauge.....had this issue alr....was the gauge....if there is no sign of overheat and its on 3/4 .....then it can very well be the gauge

Yup definately something wrong with the tranny....however its either a solenoid on the valve body or the valvebody by itself....which is under the tranny when u take down the oil pan...easiest thing to do is get it scan by someone who scanner can scan transmissions....and work from there....accordin...
