This morning was pretty cool too, the car external thermometer said 22ºC when I passed by Piarco this morning.
Visibility was low this morning. Couldn't see past 10 lampposts down the road, if that can be used as a measurement lol.

The weather is only adding to the misery many folks are going thru to get to the bank etc.
Our older folks are really under pressure and getting wet for them can lead to illness.

^ Ain't nothing political about this rain. It's been falling non-stop like monsoon since about 3am. NON-STOP like October 2018. Floods are going to be bad and Rowley or Kamla can't do anything about it. When the rain does stop it will take up to 48 hours for the mountains to drain. How the Government responds to this disaster, like Oct 2018 will be political.

Floods!
This happening now is the last thing we need on top of all the licks sharing on our people.
I pray we catch a break.

Final Full Moon of the Decade: The ‘Cold Moon” on 12/12 at 12:12 a.m.
POSTED 5:11 AM, DECEMBER 11, 2019, BY DARA BITLER, UPDATED AT 07:51AM, DECEMBER 11, 2019
DENVER– Well, at least it’s not going to be on Friday the 13th. The final full moon of 2019 and this decade will be on December 12 at 12:12 a.m.

The full moon is called the Cold Moon.

According to the Farmer’s Almanac, the Algonquin tribes of what is now the northern and eastern United States, named the full Moon in December or the last full Moon of the fall season the Cold Moon, due to the long, cold nights.

Description Light to moderate rainfall is expected to continue intermittently over the next several hours. Landslides/landslips are possible in areas so prone. While the main river courses remain contained at this time, smaller rivers and/or tributaries can reach maximum capacity leading to flooding in surrounding areas. Some areas in south Trinidad are already inundated due to localized ponding and this may be further exacerbated at high tide.
Instructions Assess your environment and river levels. Monitor weather updates via the TTMS at www.metoffice.gov.tt or https://www.facebook.com/TTMetService. For additional information on instructions, visit www.odpm.gov.tt
Area description Surrounding areas of smaller rivers and tributaries, particularly in southern Trinidad.

Ok here's what i could find regarding this rainfall. Bad Times. Pacific Monsoon Trough seen on attached map.

Tropical Weather Discussion
NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL
1203 PM EST Wed Dec 11 2019
CARIBBEAN SEA...

A mid to upper-level low is centered generally near 20N60W. Scattered moderate showers and tstorms are affecting portions of the Leeward and Virgin Islands north of 15.5N and east of 64.5W. Isolated showers and tstorms are elsewhere in the Caribbean east of 66.5W and north of 15N. Drier weather is over the north-central and northwestern Caribbean. Scattered showers and isolated tstorms are affecting the far SW Caribbean in association with the east Pacific monsoon trough. Additional isolated to scattered showers are seen over the remainder of the southern Caribbean south of 13.5N. The latest ASCAT pass shows strong trades over the central Caribbean from 10.5N-17N between 71W-80W. Winds and seas will gradually diminish across the region through Fri as high pressure in the central Atlantic shifts eastward.
