Flood damage Toyota Aqua

Postby CyrexZ3 » June 19th, 2019, 2:45 am

Good day all I was considering buying a flood damage aqua to fix. The car does not start but the person I want to buy it from had already cleaned out the car, change all the fluids and had diagnose that the car needs all the ECUs replace. The ECUs was corroded and some of the pins for the IC chip broke. So I want to know if I just replace the ECUs if the car would work or would there be more problems?

Any buy is a good buy for the right price. That being said, I wouldnt drop more than 10k on a flooded aqua as in the long run you may end up either buying a half or parting it

So you saying it would take more than just changing the ECUs to get the car to work or it might not work at all ?
