Any of you guys know or can advise if the enclave cinehome hd is a good home system. I particularly like that it's wireless and setup is a snap. Thanks

I remember back in the days that some wireless systems got interruptions with other wireless systems around.

Use it and adjust your projector position. If you want to cut down on viewig space you can also extend the border using black fabric tape.

Yeah, use the fabric tape dred, no sense going through all that trouble again. I have one of the small chupidee 1800 lumens LED projectors from DB Power (T22), which I got on sale for 70ish US to use (temporarily?). It's my first projector and screen setup. The room is already prepped with blackout curtains, so if I like how PJ+screen looks, I may get a decent projector later instead of a HD tv since 4k doesn't make much sense at my viewing distance.

I'm more of an audio guy though, so that's where my money was spent.

turboturnsmeon2 wrote:@zim, Nice setup buddy! I've been eyeing those Rti speakers for quite some time. How are they compared to the regular line? What you using to drive them?

The RTi sound great so far, although I've had nothing particularly good to compare them to "i had mono-price book shelf speakers a while now". When i 1st set them up all were set to large speakers, the bass was so good i didn't even know the sub wasn't playing until a couple minutes in. After setting speakers to small, cross over change to 80Hz, re-watching movies is a different experience.

I'm using a RXV-675 to drive them, once i get a TV sorted out i'll change out the receiver.

Ok ok. Glad u enjoying them! That frequency response u getting sounds awesome too. Abd that's using receiver power....nice! Good call on setting the xover @ 80Hz too. Makes me wishing I bought them. I ended up buying some Bostons instead. Not disappointed with their sound. I love Polk but after losing all my gear I'm forced to downsize. My amp is toast as of yesterday so the HT is on the back burner indefinitely.

Thanks for the review and response btw ✌

you'll find all that yummy old school high current apparatus on ebay and audiogon. I wish I had the money to snatch up some of zim's stuff i see he puts out on misc. Real quality items. May have to get a new receiver soon, think the relays are going, constantly have to play with the speaker switch and listen modes to get constant audio in the morning, stays on for the rest of the day once I get it.

eBay. However I search on Google for reviews (both good and bad) before purchasing). I'm considering selling my system. PM me if u interested. I will treat u like a boss :) (ignore the posted prices, that's just to scare away the typical low ballers). I will send u the link to my items via PM.

On a side note, this is temporary:

Correct is right my friend :) many thanks for the compliments.

The prev stuff I had listed was all stolen, so guys if u see rare quality music selling very cheap, pls report it to the authorities. Thta seems like a minor issue meccali. I have a guy who can repair if u interested. If u interested in anything I have 4 sale, feel free to contact me.

My current setup, tho small is rather satisfactory. I have no issues. However, just to be on the safe side, I always have spare equipment, in case something fails, I don't have to use tv speakers lol.

With all this said, going separates (dedicated pre/ pro, external amplifiers, etc) is not cheap. There are cheaper and great sounding alternatives though. I can advise and assist if u guys need any :)

Anywhere locally sells quality bookshelf speakers?

Also, banana terminals? I need to buy some quality RCA jacks as well (2 females and a long m/m).

Thinking to check DetourTech/RadioShak after work.

Quite a few places. Expect to pay a premium. I have 2 pairs to sell now. 1 pair Boston Acoustics CR6 & 1 pair Polk Audio R15. The Polk Audio tweeters were shot so I bougbt and replaced them with OEM units (very expensive).

See here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=715788&p=9686844#p9686844

Nothing is wrong with anything but due to circumstances beyond my control, I'm forced to downsize my system. Prices are negotiable and I personally guarantee items not DOA.

Hope to hear from you & cheers! 8)

You're welcome buddy. I pm u his info. The Kenwood is not integrated. A powerful unit. My only issue is a "hiss" but it can only be heard if u put your ear real close to the speakers. I sometimes use it as my centre channel amp but other than that I consider it my spare. I piping it now

Anyone can direct me to an electrician? Problem onkyo 7.1 surround sound system turns on (lights etc) however only starts to produce sound whether in radio mode, aux or any other input after a while. It started to play after about 5 mins at the beginning when the problem was discovered but now it plays after an hour or when it feels to. Feel free to pm contact number. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
