3" is too big for the trunking to hide.
But I have one bnib, will sell you for cost price. Bought it as a demo for a class (didn't want them seeing my bit).

I have the tools but not the time. Have a full time job.

Abel service sucks ass. Dont know why someone from there cant br reading This and allow me to deal the brands. I been cleaning up the sh1t work their installers did for some time now.
And yes, I have my paperwork to back up my talk.

pile of dog sheit AC remote won't work nothing functions in it just stuck on Auto even after pulling out battery and replacing with new ones.

https://i5.walmartimages.com/asr/816d0c ... a4b39.jpeg

^ is one like that for a frigidaire. Wonder where I could even get one?

Currently stuck on using the rubbish piece of sheit Auto Mode which apparently puts the fan speed at 0 and cooling never goes below 24c

A relative recently installed a Comfee and same Toshiba compressor business and so far so good. Also has warranty to back it up. Would never be in the same class as the bigger names but for a budget unit seems good. Installer only uses this and know for a fact literally hundreds were installed previously.

I notice the AC remote start back to work as I leave the battery in it for like a day but temp down button you have to press it in a certain angle and a certain way for it to work.

Wonder if this could fix?

it colding good so far, second day.
I understand they are made in india, not japan like original daikin

peakes claim 5 yr warranty, hope there is no loophole in that
it replaced a miller that might have been 12-14yrs old.

They are Working well and quiet, one unit is doing the job fine at night but during the day the 2 will have to be used because of how the sun hits the walls. When the unit cycles on and off you dont even hear it so it’s smooth sailing for now

I actually welcome new men on the scene that do the job proper. Need to set a standard out here. Heard men saying my fb page have some of the neatest installs.
Want to expand my business next year so my name might be in red. Things starting to get grimey in this trade already and next year it getting worst. We have a new major player in the game that buy out a whole shipment to control the market.

Is peaks did the install?

Atlantic air have a real bess technician. Does marvel at the installs the guy do.

There is the cheap daikin and the original daikin back on the market but you don't want to know the price. They have one and a half unit in the country right now.

yup @pugs.. after the little paint over it will be tinted or i will put blinds in. When i do the bedroom install tomorrow i will be able to tell which works better because one room has tinted windows and mine has blinds

Also nick, should have invested in a dmm that does capacitance. Would come in handy.

I see you clamping current draw. Means you have a good idea what you doing. 90% of the guys out here dont know to do that. I hate when I go on a job and no wire to clamp. They does cut it short.

I suspect it is the cheaper daikin peakes and others bringing, a guy from south did the install for me.
He does my stuff almost 20yrs now.

I have three of the original first generation peakes that were made of the better components still working strong since 1999. This was before they went with the cheap Chinese stuff and everybody else.

If you use blinds, the blinds will still get hit by the radiation through the glass and get warm inside the room whilst tint will reject it at the glass.

How do u know cheapo vs original?

Who your pops did his course with?
You wanna do the course? All you have to do is walk in any ac place and say you do that course. No hesitation to do business after.
The guy at the counter in preysal doing the course.

I wont call the daikins a cheaper unit. They did what they have to do to cope with competition. Units arent expensive as before so they built elsewhere where it can be done cheaper. The other line is built where the older ones were hence me saying "original". Older daikin were really expensive but handled the test of time. Saw one outside a building I thought someone dumped (the state it in). It cycled on a few seconds later.
