Gonna buy one one of those Canon eos sl1 rebel for my first cam. Played around with one for a few hours, totally enjoyed it.

Conrad, the latest mirror less cameras are quite awesome. The j4 image quality is off the charts from what I see from real world examples locally

Very true RBphoto, IQ is awesome. The AF speed still is catching up for action though not to mention lens and accessories are very expensive.

You know, I don't usually care for photo credit once I am paid, but being paid AND photo credit? Saturday Express Section 3 Eid supplement cover.

Used it. An awesome lens. That's what I used on the waterfront landscape shots.

f/2.8 is there if you need it and it's sharp wide open. When you stop it down for the dof it's sharp from edge to edge.

16mm is doable on full frame too.

I use to own it a while back. It was really a great lens. Was never really a fan of the push/pull focus ring. Images were quite sharp.

Well you don't push/pull to manually grab focus, that's just to switch from AF to Manual.

Nicer, thanks fellas. Thinking to pick one up to pair with the 5d as I find 24mm isn't wide enough for some landscapes.

If you don't mind manual focus you can get the Samyang 14mm prime.

If I buy a manual focus only lens I'd not be able to use it as spontaneously as I'd like to as I'd have to check and double check the focus. Much rather have the option of switching between auto and manual.
