and what system you're using it on? ran it on a range of systems, ranging from a dell 8250 (i thinks thats over 7 years old) to a laptop, etc. But i never really delved to deeply into it. I still use it sometimes on a liveusb i made

I used it cuz I was too lazy to install windows at the time, really nice interface, kinda confusing when you want to X off a window ( it on the other side)

MSN substitute is toots
yuh cud click any virus link and give a fak
free apps (cept for a few but there are substitutes to those)
looks kinda Mac-ish doh

pros outweigh the cons for me

UBUNTU rocks, package management is one of the best. I use it on a daily basis. For windows specific apps I use a Virtualbox. The latest 11.04 is a bit mac"ish" with the unity interface.

WRT to drivers, on older hardware, it has most drivers also manufacturers these days are releasing linux drivers for thier hardware, when I installed ubuntu 10.10 to my dell inspiron 1520 laptop, all drivers for the hardware was installed. Even down to the function keys for volume and brightness

Dude Ubuntu rocks. Its far better looking than Windows. Looks even better than Apple ever seen that compiz fusion thing?

There is no comparison Ubuntu Linux is the best OS there is. Problem is it has little support so you won't see much programs made for it.

However for nearly almost every paid windows software Ubuntu has equivalent for free. You can also play Heroes of Newerth on Ubuntu and its by far the best game on the planet and I played many games for 20 years.

in the new version of ubuntu they switched their interface to a new one called unity. it has a built in dock with really cool features. they improve with every release which is every 6 months. they have a great community that helps out with any problems that you have. My only probblem with ubuntu is that if ur a hardcore gamer ull have to go through the trouble to use WINE to get them to work as there arent much linux versions to games.....except heroes of newerth

Ubuntu is nice, but I prefer Fedora for a desktop system.

Now they does real abuse newbies on HON eh. But da is cause you lose important PSR on your account if you lose a game. You need a lot of thinking and skills to play this game and you need to understand the strategy. It isn't your mainstream casual Modern Warfare.

You need true skills to play HON since its a single hero RTS.

check videos of it on youtube you go see for yourself. Game rocks man.

When I play with voodoo jester, I have ah lil secret. Stun multiple nemies, do cursed ground on as much of them as possible then mojo. All these sets up the stage to drastically drain their health.

You then have something called your ultimate spell. Vooodoo jester puts down a spirit ward on the ground that constantly attacks an enemy like a machine gun but its a channeling spell so if they stun you its over and you die easily. My secret use assassins shroud after casting it, turns you invisible for 12 seconds or so. And get something called staff of master it boosts the ultimate. So it attacks 3 enemies at same time giving you a hat trick.

If you good enough you will have the other team cursing and crying and rage quitting.
Nice experience also they have best servers on the planet almost lag free. Dedicated sh!t yo and its almost impossible to cheat in that game.

But play No stats first. Until you real real real good cause they go kick you from most servers if your KD is crap. Kill to death ratio that is. :D
