R.I.P Dean Jones, the first man I saw with sunglasses playing cricket, and no Clive Lloyd doesn't technically count

The IPL is out to destroy Sunil Narine's career.

When he first started international cricket there was no doubt that he was pelting.

However, in the recent CPL his re-modelled action seemed to me to be well within the tolerance limits. He is no longer chucking the ball.

CPL 2020

It is a mystery how the on-field umpires could call him, today, for a suspect action.

From cricinfo: https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id ... rning-list

"The report was made by the on-field umpires [Ulhas Gandhe and Chris Gaffaney]

I was back and forth betting on bet365 with this game, I ended up losing, but at one time I had over $40 USD on Mumbai, balance right now is $39 after cashing out on MI and betting on Kings during the Super Overs,

So they cleared Sunil Narine . Just as I thought.

It does not mean the on-field umpires would not call him again.

They should spare us unnecessary matches and go straight to a DC MI finals.
The best two teams in the tournament

We had a world Cup final that had a super over that finished tied. It just wasn't considered as tied.

MI vs DC with the loser playing the winner of the SRH VS RCB game

Could well see the MI vs DC match-up in the finals again although SRH looks a different team with Jason Holder in it (Shocks)

MI DC today
MI batting first

Saw a breakdown of batting during the various stages of a match and MI have been best of all teams in the middle and end overs (Pollard and Pandya effect). They pretty much average in the power play though.

Hard to disagree that MI were the best team in this tournament. Others had a match or two of brilliance but MI has been consistent.

Bumrah and Boult were beasts (Rabada and Nortje weren't bad either)

Most shockingly is to see how far Narine has fallen.

bum rah does real move the ball

narine non chucking action has made him more ordinary
and well anybody could go voop and be lucky for a few matches over time but eventually the averages and smart bowlers catch up with you
