Double Din problem

Postby Liquid » July 8th, 2020, 12:14 am

Hi folks

So my car stereo fails to display any type of video input. Will only get audio from dvd movies with no picture (black screen), similarly for my rca inputs, when i connected my game console, i get audio but no video. Everything else works fine however when i slap in a dvd, i get a black screen with only audio. Can anyone assist me to rectify this problem? My deck is a kenwood dnn992, if anyone can recommend someone to check it out, that will be helpful as well. Btw i attempted to rectify the issue by doing a factory reset but it didnt work.

My case is definitely not the situation in the video. The dvd is not outputting any video, thats all.

Sounds like a video bypass issue. Did it work before?

Yes it did. It worked on first hook up but never sustained.

Ahh, that's unfortunate then. Really seems to be a fault with the unit. :(
