The hardest thing is getting the shocks in stock for good price.
All you need after that is 17 & 19 metric sockets... And maybe 45 mins of your time.

Check massy both north and south and you might get the valve body available for around 8000$ I think

Peeps! My battery just died on me and I'm looking at the original Thailand battery and not seeing the cranking amps anywhere. What's a good alternative battery to buy or should I go back by massy and get one of their automotive components batteries at 25% off?

if it's mind over matter, somethings up with my mind imo :|
I'd like to know what the noise is that turns on & off while the van is switched off ,could this be linked to a faulty fuel pressure sensor in anyway?

Sport version......

I've been using the Pricesmart battery (model 9) in my navara since Old Year's day 2012.
No problem since, and starts great every time.

Did some pricing back then... AC delco with 750 CA - $1100 with 1 year warranty

Pricesmart battery (which has the same chassis and plates as AC delco, just different branding) - $795 with 1 year full warranty and 1 year pro-rated warranty.

my remote works only at near range now. figure it's my battery going.

open the remote and clean the circuit pad behind it. thats usually the trick for old tv remotes

i think lighthammer changed his driveshaft seal at some point. maybe he can confirm

lighthammer a small handsaw and plastic welding couldve done the trick

Try resetting the fuel pump.

I am at 95K and I had that issue last week, it was smoking reaaal bad to!

It's a loud tapping sound especially on cold start ups.

After the reset, I did a beetham run and she was pulling like a beast again.

See instructions here: http://www.nissan-navara.net/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=5786

I'm at 95K Km and never paid more than $5000.00 for a major service.

I usually take my own oil and filters though.

Could also be the Navara steering spiral of the seatbelt/srs light is coming onthay would also lead to a nonfunctional horn

ok so the horn issue was indeed the spiral cable basically i used the instructions on this site

http://www.clubfrontier.org/forums/f23/ ... ing-87052/

There are a few differences in removing the air bag there are two clips on the steering wheel instead of one as shown in the video

Things to note when doing this is DO NOT remove safety from the new spiral cable until you are ready to install the steering wheel on it ( the new spiral cable assembly comes centered )

Took me about 45 mins and you might need some one to help t remove air bag while you hold in the retaining clips
