Religious institutiins are still required to social distance and operate at 50% capacity.
So check with your local mosque for whatever contingencies have been put in place

And many are asked to walk with their prayer mat for Salah.

Its a compromise.
While its sunnah to stand shoulder to shoulder, the law of the land must be followed.
Its better than closing down the masjid completely.

We have a hafiz doing the whole Quran this year, and even though he is against the social distancing for prayer, fact is; we aint have much choices.....is either we conform for the safety of ourselves and other while being able to still partake in the prayer, or they shut us down completely and we lose whatever benefits we could have gained from attending the mosque under the assigned conditions

And whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him,
He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty).
And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine.
And whosoever puts his trust in Allâh, then He will suffice him.

The problem is, a contagious virus, spread by exhaling and inhaling.
U gojng to stand up in one spot while everybody up and down for 12 or 20 rackat??? Unless u wearing n 95, these Lil cloth mask not gonna help in this situation.

And ur going to do it repeatedly for 29 nights consequently... That's a viral recipe fir disaster.

Dr. Saed Rahaman, presented guidelines for the month of Ramadan and the upcoming Eid celebrations. These guidelines include:
- Strict entry policies for services at masjids, including temperature screening.
- Washing hands before entering the prayer space.
- Walking with personal prayer mats.
- Wearing masks at all times.
- Ensuring proper ventilation and distancing (50% capacity).
- Holding multiple Eid services instead of one large service with many people in one space.
- Using social media to livestream/broadcast services.
- The elderly and those with comorbidities should not chance going to gatherings. They should instead pray at home.
- Physical greetings for Eid celebrations, like hugging and kissing, should be discouraged to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Dr. Rahaman said for Iftar (the breaking of fast in the evening), it is important that families do not invite others into their homes as much as possible. They can prepare the food and drop it off at their relatives' homes.

Dr. Rahaman clarified that Muslims can take the COVID-19 vaccine during the month of Ramadan.

Agreed. Religious obligation to stay away

^ Quarantine is an old tried and true solution for stopping spread of infectious diseases. So border closures make perfect sense.

I don't think covid is as critical as we making it out to be. But still, I don't go masjid that much normally. So I will opt to keep the space available for those who do go regularly.

At least, the regulars will get to be with each other, as normal. And would not be exposed to the once in a while like me, who would bring in all kinda virus from all over.

This is a method that was used in the DARK AGES .

Are Muslims unable to practice their faith ?

Open our borders so the people can leave and go abroad and meet their families .
The option we have now with T&T Government is to stay here with no vaccine and die

They close business down and have laws that are repressive with no scientific data.

The PLAN is not working and T&T Gov't need to close up Tobago since it's a COVID hotspot .

Yes, it's there. But as Duane pic shows, quite slight and fortunate to be out of the cloud.
