Sounding like our not making financial sense to go through all that to traffic one person. Thinking might be some other motive. What you all think?
My sis (who regularly takes taxis) did her dissertation on human trafficking in the Caribbean.
I am 99% sure this is NOT a case of trafficking. Traffickers try to keep their activities below everyone's radar. It is human trafficking 101 that they take women who no one will miss.
In fact, it's an extremely sad situation regarding many Venezuelan women here. Many are tricked into coming to TnT by organized criminals in Vene and Trini. They trick them under the guise of working as maids/baby sitters/bar tenders etc. When they reach, their passports are taken and they're forced to work as prostitues.
No one looking for them because (1) Their families think they working in TT (2) Their families might even get a small share fro the traffickers to shut them up and keep them dependent (3) No one in TT knows or cares so public and media awareness are zero.
This was most likely a gang rape and murder, perhaps by people, she was familiar with (or were familiar with her) at the Arima Magistrate.
There needs to be public outcry at extreme levels because WE CAN NOT accept this in our society.
But you know, those p*ssy trendy SJW groups only care about Ramsaran, BLM and Starlite. When an issue that requires outrage from society is met with silence then why be surprised if it happens again?
Stand up for your sisters, wives, friends, mothers and aunts for once!

Where would trini women go to "work"?
Majority of women in TT are either brown or dark skinned type women. These women are usually viewed as being at the bottom of the table when it comes to attractiveness so it is very unlikely that a human trafficking ring would be interested in such women.
Remember the yazidi women that Isis mainly trafficked and abused? They had pale skin, blue eyes or green eyes. These are the types of women that those people tend to be interested in. Plus, latin america has enough opportunity for them to traffick women so it's hardly unlikely they would use TT.
This could simply be nothing more than an opportunistic predator who took the chance to do what he wanted.
Sad state of affairs

Yes but it's the same story, why target a girl who'd have so much media attention and TTPS resources versus a Venezuelan refugee or better yet why target anyone in Trini, versus the millions of poor south Americans?
Organ harvesting is a very real thing but it doesn't happen much in this part of the world. China, India and Brazil yes.

Beaten suspect in Bharatt kidnapping dies
KEN CHEE HING 6 MINUTES AGO
THE suspect in the Andrea Bharatt abduction who was allegedly beaten by police on Tuesday has died.
Police said Andrew Morris, who was held at his Arima home, died between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. He was the father of one.
Police sources say Morris, who was arrested by officers of the Special Operation Response Team (SORT), was beaten in front of his family when he was held around 3 am, and again while in police custody.
Police sources said part of the beating allegedly took place at the Malabar Police Station.
Another man, police said, gave them information about Bharatt's bank card, which Morris is said to have used to withdraw cash.
Bharatt, 22, a clerk at the Arima Magistres' Court, went missing after getting into a car she believed to be a taxi last Friday afternoon at King Street, Arima. A co-worker who travelled with her was dropped off safely, but Bharatt never arrived home.
Police and members of the Defence Force have been searching the forested area in Sangre Grande, joined by hunters and hikers.
A total of $75,000 in rewards has been offered for information that will help find Bharatt.

YES,
This is EXACTLY the approach needed and i am so happy to hear this.
I hope he was given minimal medical attention and NO pain killers....who knows it was probably a medical employee that dealt with him some more while on the hospital bed LOL i would’ve done the same. This is justice.
One down, 4 more to go....but still no Andrea sigh.
Ben_spanna, what are your thoughts?

MEDIA RELEASE
CoP: Stop Posting that Kidnap Victim is Dead
Commissioner of Police, Gary Griffith, finds it very irresponsible for persons on social media to be posting that kidnapped victim, Andrea Bharatt, has been found dead.
The CoP says he has been bombarded with calls and messages from the media and concerned citizens asking if the social media posts were correct. He also noticed that persons on social media have been sending condolences to the family of the victim, believing that the social media posts are accurate.
Commissioner Griffith is asking such persons to desist from posting such information as it further traumatizes the family of the missing woman. Ms Bharatt, 23, was seen entering a taxi in Arima last Friday, January 29th. She has not been seen since.
