Car LED lights

So my led brake lights on the vezel died. Its a sealed housing so no bulb to replace. The cost to replace entire thing is 3500 for the housing alone. Which by the way they dont have in stock at honda trinidad. So to get the housing foreign used you have to buy entire tailgate for 12k. Anyone can repair this light ( open up and modify) so i wont be ticketed . Thanks

You mean the 3rd brake light on the rear spoiler?

drill a hole and stick in a regular bulb

Isn't it that as long as your 2 standard brakes lights working you good to go? I thought the 3rd brakes light was still seen as a fancy 1st world car thing.

Led lights don’t wear out I opened mine up and fixed it...was a simple short circuit. Bad soldiering on the circuit board
