what they hoping to achieve by reimplementing this? i remember they had put this route back a few years back and changed it cause it made no sense as it had traffic galore...

all of these traffic routes were there before about 6- 7 years ago and because of epic traffic they did what's current, now there is even more traffic and they are going to resort back to the same old...

i avoid pricesmart , both roundabouts & medford gas station areas like d plague , anybody passed there today - how was it ? ....

that price plaza 'region' need to be come a very large round about with one way traffic. like a mini QPS.

it appears price plaza was the focus back then with little planning for anything else

well this awkward - mayor just posted :

The traffic arrangement in these areas will be reverted to the previous arrangement.
The traffic flow will be monitored from 7th -11th of December and a comparison will be made to the previous week.
Further consultation with the MOWT will be done to review the trial and discuss further plans.

U can't have traffic cutting across on opposing directions on high traffic zones.

another sterling example of better they try and learn to manage a simcity, than experiment with the general public.

if the mayor smarter than the last 3 mayors he would understand the faster traffic exit an area less chance of there being traffic. if they open back the overpass to exit traffic onto the highway north and south and instead of traffic heading north have to bottleneck by medford gas station they can use the ramp onto the overpass or pass by medford or on chaguanas main road, more entry and exit means cars move out quickly. but as usual they so dotish just like big drains exiting into smaller passageways and they want to know y it floods.

anyone from central would realize traffic entering freeport ease up since they build the road by courts but again we put the most dotish people to make decisions. from two retard to a porn star i had hopes this youth would have been a vast improvement.

they also worked with MOWT,, who have their own special traffic management people. and i assume, use traffic management software.

the mayor has stated repeatedly in the facebook posts that the MOWT and the Minister is in charge of building infrastructure and the highways and Chaguanas Borough Corporation was not given permission to reopen and use the ramps by the MOWT. He has said so to every person who asked this on the notice and that he has no power to open the ramps despite it being a good plan. So u see it best to insult the office of the mayor because you cannot read. ok.

This move was a trial for 1 week to compare it with the previous plan because his team was measuring the traffic volume. 2 plans within Chaguanas worked so he is leaving it, but the plans for the flyover did not seem to work so they are going to try to create a new plan with what they have to work with. He has overseen road repairs along the Chan Ramlal route and may possibly reopen that plan in the future. Again, Chaguanas Borough Corporation cannot open the ramp or build new infrastructure. It is up to the central government who has neglected the area for many years. The mayor is working with what he has got and is trying. If you have a suggestion please feel free to leave it on the facebook of the mayor and kindly leave your insults here since you don't know how to talk to people and think you know everything and you are smarter than everybody else.

dont know who is this new tuner but i have to agree with him , from what it seems ultimately d MOWT has to give d final ok , cant go changing without their permission

in order for exit of cars off d north & south bound ramps they will need to put separation barriers right at d entrance to those ramps so drivers from opposite lane wont cut across d road creating slowdowns ....

opening the ramps would cause more issues. for example on the north bound, if you open the north ramp, you're gonna have a clash with people exiting the highway by Ansa. if you open the south ramp, you need to extend the ramp/build infrastructure so cars can enter into the highway with ease.

the same goes for the southbound lane

vehicles turning right across the path of other vehicles, will always casue traffic when vehicles drive on the left.
once you are implementing right turns, there will be congestion.

better they make an entrance to the NB somewhere along Mulchan Suechan btween animedics and trinre that you cannot make a right turn to get into, or put a roundabout to control that turn. possibly with hums before it to force some courtesy.
that way all traffic from the eastern side of thighway has "unhindered" access to the north bound.

Even mulchan suechan should have no right turn to endeauour conector.
put a roundabout on the weestern end by caroni savannah road. no right tun into gas station / chan ramlal either, or anyhwere along there.
longer drive to get someplaces, but you think the flow of traffic wil improve or get worse?

Don't need to do all that, just a loop around and on ramp from mulchan seuchan to NB like what you did for the SB and a lot of traffic will be alleviated.

I had posted that idea here years ago. Just build two bridges over those drains and problem solved.

Ever notice which road ended up being major, and which one is minor there?

Easiest fix for now would be to put a no right turn for cars coming out of Medford after putting gas.

Make them go left and filter back into the Endeavour Connector from the Royal Castle drive through entrance.

the loop around works for the SB because there is enough space for the cars to loop. the NB needs to have infrastructure built for that so might as well accommodate those who want to enter the highway from chaguanas (instead of going by KFC)

Yep! The basically went back to what they had.....that was not working :lol: :lol:
Good thing i order my stuff from amazon and dotn have to fight up in the traffic.
