i don't think there is a "bess price" on gold and a few cents up or down wouldn't make a difference unless you're trading large quantities. If the Central Bank has a gold price, that's the price you will get it for.

The 22 has alloy mixed so forget this mixture .

If looking for investment purposes you want to be purchasing 24k gold at spot market prices.

Check scotia bank and see if they are still selling gold certificates
