agreed
bought a set from them once

also don’t buy windows made with flat bars
easy to break in

Same thing for those fancy French doors with flat bars, and besides the lack of strength, the spaces in between the bars are way too big, remember generally once a persons head can pass through they can get through one shoulder and head at a time,... I’m telling you.

you would be amazed to see how easy it is to twist and break the welds on flat bars with a crescent wrench

i added round bars to reinforce

Go aluminium, steel windows are much harder to maintain.

I have windows from both QPSL and MK Askgarali
Let's just say after 10 years the very expensive askgarali windows still leak and the owner threatened me after I insisted they fix every last leak before I pay off the 3.5k of the 33k bill
They told me find a contractor to fix THEIR windows, and pay them their damn money
I sent the contractor's quote, and I've never heard from them since

QPSL did custom windows for me, all to my design and spec
Guy named Indar was VERY patient with me as I went through what I wanted, and everything was built perfectly

However aluminum is much softer than steel, and that same twisting of a steel bar, will make is much easier to do to aluminum, depending on the aluminum it may even just break rather than bend.

Saw these aluminum powder coated at alumax in san juan....it was love at first sight. A bit on the pricey side but looks like its worth it.

Try ABC windows in el socorro. They only have standard sizes though. But their price good.

Burglar proofing is separate, as I have casement type windows.
