Worst case scenario, brace for some serious water shortages and funny tasting water that makes you feel sick, especially those who live south side.
If only we had a means to buy that oil and somewhere that we could keep and process it.

Nah, tbh I don't think is an issue of playing games.
With the US sanctions against Venezuela and oil prices still in the toilet selling it before wouldn't have been the ideal option. They would have taken a hit.
But considering what's about to happen might be better to unload it ASAP than to hang onto it and risk a major regional disaster and be liable to shell out for the cost to fix said disaster when they already under pressure financially.
