You need to do whatever you can do to get a test ASAP. Take a day a walk 50km if you have to. Judging by your situation this would be the easiest and cheapest part of what you have to deal with if she is pregnant. You do not want to take any chances here and get blindsided later on.

Also, you seem young so in case nobody told you, don't feel shame to walk up to the counter in a pharmacy and just ask for a test. Yeah it may seem awkward but most of us have been here before, especially in our early days. Don't bother about the pharmacists judging you, they dealing with this same situation everyday and didn't go through like seven years of schooling to get awkward at these everyday situations.

Long story short... get the test. Get at least three tests from at least two different brands ($15 - $45 for the tests I think) and use them all ASAP (make sure to read the instructions).

newborns are actually kinda easy. They eat and sleep most of the time. Just have to wake up every 2 hours, so you need to tag team sleep, but otherwise I don't remember it so bad. And you get tons of family support coming to see the new baby too. And you get time off from work.

Then that stops off, the sleep never returns, it gets really hard.
