Even with a APK file?? Have you enabled 3rd party app installations?Zee wrote:I got an A71, wanted to get Android Auto but all attempts to sideload it has ended in a "fail to install" error.
Any advice?
Use the VPN method, search for a video on YouTube showing you what to do. You have to force close play store etc. It's the safest method, all you got to do is fool the play store to connect to the us store. When you disconnect from the VPN it'll work fine.Zee wrote:maj. tom wrote:Here are some things i also found with a few searches on this problem:
Wipe all data from the Play Store App. So when you restart your phone it has to log in with credentials from fresh.
Then disable "Play Protect" within the settings in the Play Store so it won't scan the device.
Find the apk from a different reputable source. We don't know if it was compiled wrong. Make sure it matches your Android version. Remember it's a risk you're taking by disabling security and installing unknown apps. These days Samsung has many extra layers of security on their devices that is a pain in the ass to bypass.
Sounds really tedious and risky as you said.
Is there anything you can recommend for me to use in place to connect the device to the car?
I saw a mirror mode or something of the sort

What happens when I uninstall the VPN?
