The home units 12 - 18,000 are very easy to clean .

The company charges $300 but we usually have a Vene doing that job for about $50.

Times are a changing .

If you know your way around ti and its regularly maintained, it is.

Have a contact # for the vene?

I remember giving some guys a quote and they told me I wicked, and my price too high. Have another person in the business that does thier own at a lower price. One was a coworker and we came in to servce the ac at his work place. He asked what the f**k we doing? Well you know I handle their ac units at home now.

Bene the Vene working for themselves ..

The days of the $600 A/C wash for home unit done ..

It ever had them days?

Not doubting it have a few vene's that know thier stuff but it have a few out here trying a thing. Some had managed to get thier hands on some equipment belonging to a friend of mine. Over $10k in tools and equip went missing.
I cleaned up mess made by many already.
I have seen vene workmanship first hand already and they take pride in their work. I know one living here with more experience than me and qualified in instrumentation and PLC. Cool soldier but he lives too far. And mankind speaks english fluent, he been here some years now.

You are correct brother !

My company has 3 Engineers and that are EXCELLENT !!!

The work ethic is impeccable !

The performance are magnificent !!

The Spanish took over Miami - South Beach ! Politics !

Viva Bene the Vene ..

Soon the other 1 %

Good morning to after reading this thread what is the average price to service a 36000 cause about 6 months back someone came and serviced mine charged 350 and a week later it started to leak water again and they came back and fixed it which was due to a poor service and wanted to charge me 200. So im looking for someone new to service it and the others units in the future.

$350.00 is a bess price. They shouldn't have charged to clean up their mess though.

Depends on the type, the commercial ones are like $700.00 to do.

Anyhew, on a list of ways to not service an ac, this is probably #1.

I can't even comprehend how he still in business.

Called and threatened me some time back. Asked if meem know who he is and I wanna see a certain supplier stop sell me merchandise. Met me pose off behind the manager desk of said establishment eating lunch some months later. His tone was a lot softer then

I need to raise my prices yes. Cant be charging same price and doing better work.

Check and see if it persists. Sounds like minor ice up.
If it does you can shoot me a pm and I can walk you through a solution.
Of course, it's just a patch, not a permanent fix.
Sooner or later I may have to pay you a visit.

Still contemplating the offer from ATC as well. So I may teach it there also.

Do you teach it at the Caps campus?

That's someone else. He does the princess town campus as well if I'm not mistaken.

Some students kicked fuss that what I teaching is not what he teaches. And I did my own syllabus.

Anything anyone ask I can answer off the top of my head. He just teaches the how and not the why.

School said the biggest class they ever got was mine and students actually came in and asked if I was the teacher.

Former student of mine sent me this when he saw what I did.

3 tonne unit compressor failed. I vacuumed a 24000 btu that had no refrigerant and used it to pull the refrigerant out this system so as to not waste it and not have to bill the company to charge the 24000 btu with refrigerant.
The cost to replace the compressor was too much as it used R22 so he asked if I can convert the system to R410a as a compressor was less than half the price. So said, so done.

Just replace the tube ..

That is a major cause of A/C water dripping ..

If you call those A/C guys ..

They go give you a D/C ( Dick Chat ) and charge you $400 for a $10 tube ..

It's a DIY job ..
