it's wavy not not horrible, unless you driving fast
Iv'e done that run down to Cedros several times in a MINI Cooper with no problems, and the front of those cars are very low, so not sure how ppl find it so hard to make that drive

It's really something when people complain about roads and don't understand what is going on. Short answer: bitumen is a liquid with a very very high viscosity. So the road in that area "sinks". Also big trucks driving on roads not designed for them, overloads it.

Thing is, in that particular area the land keeps moving. If you look at a lot of the houses you will see how they bent. Its a well known fact and I had some lolz when they protested for the roads to be fixed. Government give them smooth road, months later it benn up like cutlash wire.

Thee are a number of smaller pitch lakes in the area and a number of places have pitch that came through the roads. A girl once sent me pic with her by one of the smaller less known lakes.

A lot of the material removed from the land for the highway project was like oil sand.
