Working from home today as someone in another company who share office space with us tested + for covid over the weekend and we are sanitising. MOH guidelines now states that this is not necessary.

Last year MOH made us quarantine when someone in our company was a 3rd level contact to a covid + person.

However, much has changed with the management of Covid. Since last week my parents went for a Covid test after my brother tested positive. My dad started showing symptoms 2 days ago so today I'm taking him privately to go get tested.

This sheit is so mismanaged, after their test last week Tuesday they said a nurse would be calling everyday. They left 2 phone numbers to call to get the rest results. After 100 calls of no answer he decided just to go private.

Also, after my brother tested positive privately, no calls have been made to him either. No contact tracing attempts made either.

Such slackness.

^ In our sister company (different location) last month a staff member tested positive. She went public and was turned away from a test for insufficient symptoms. A private test showed up + and 2 weeks post test the MOH was yet to contact the company.
Executive took a decision to have the pod of staff closest to the + person work from home without any guidance from MOH within a few days anyhows to hedge.

Can T&T take all the AZ vaccines that the other countries don't want? They can give it to us for free considering they would be dumping and not using it anyways. We would have enough vaccines to inoculate the entire population of T&T without spending much forex which we're short on. Win win for everyone.

i heard the 4 days is after exposure, but for asymptomatic ppl - not sure about this - the PM certainly didn't wait 4 daysat symptoms they looking for?

pretty much falls in line,
remember we only test persons who are really really sick showing symptoms based on policy

so chances are a person who tests positive will require some hospitalization initially
its how many that become more seriously ill/ICU is the issue.
