Did we do any of this?
I guess 2, 3 and 4 we sort of did it but...

Backlog again, which means there are many more positives out there.
Correct is right...that 7244 is actually 7325 atm! Pretty soon yall gonna hear govt gonna stop that home quarantine thing cuz trinis to dotish...people would have no choice but to take the state quarantine measures.
i heard the cmo recently in a meeting saying ppl who violate home quarantine are sent to step down facilities, of course that's only who they ketch.
but with that new variant they will have to do that at least for all incoming passengers- the thing is they doh have enough room for all those ppl who are covid + at home. we need those gps bracelets now!
Can't mandate the wearing of them according to War on Salt Deyalsingh.
how about we give them a choice between the bracelet & state quarantine the Quarantine Act can mandate the latter!
How about a choice between behave they self or collect a level cut arse for dotishness?
like crime, u have to ketch dem first- detection is needed
Rep. Jayapal Tests Positive For COVID-19 After Sheltering With Unmasked GOP Colleagues
Pramila Jayapal lambasted Republican lawmakers for refusing to “simply wear a damn mask” during the Capitol lockdown.

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) tested positive for the coronavirus on Monday after locking down with Republican colleagues who refused to wear masks during the Capitol riot last week.
“Only hours after President Trump incited a deadly assault on our Capitol, our country, and our democracy, many Republicans still refused to take the bare minimum COVID-19 precaution and simply wear a damn mask in a crowded room during a pandemic — creating a superspreader event on top of a domestic terrorist attack,” Jayapal said in a statement.
Jayapal’s office said she was locked down for several hours with Republicans who “not only cruelly refused to wear a mask but mocked colleagues and staff who offered them one.” Jayapal called for members of Congress who refuse to wear a mask in the Capitol to face “serious fines” and be removed from the House floor by the sergeant-at-arms.
“This is not a joke. Our lives and our livelihoods are at risk, and anyone who refuses to wear a mask should be fully held accountable for endangering our lives because of their selfish idiocy,” she said.
At least nine Republican lawmakers refused to wear mask while in lockdown, HuffPost’s Amanda Terkel reports.
Jayapal is the second lawmaker to test positive since the Capitol riot. Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-N.J.) also tested positive Monday, saying in a statement that she believes she was exposed while locking down in the Capitol with maskless colleagues.
A third lawmaker, Rep. Brad Schneider (D-Ill.), said Tuesday that he’d tested positive as well.
The attending physician to members of Congress advised lawmakers and Capitol staff to get tested for the coronavirus after the riots on Jan. 6, since many were forced to hide in close proximity to one another.
Capitol Hill has largely avoided superspreader events, but the White House has had several, including an event in late September where President Donald Trump, first lady Melania Trump and others were likely infected.

UK Covid Strain Now In 50 Countries, South African Variant In 20: WHO
The UN body also noted a third new coronavirus "variant of concern" found in Japan may impact upon immune response and needs further investigation.
WorldAgence France-PresseUpdated: January 13, 2021 5:41 pm IST
Geneva, Switzerland: The coronavirus mutation first found in Britain has now spread to 50 territories, according to the World Health Organization, while a similar South African-identified strain has now been found in 20.
The UN body also noted a third new coronavirus "variant of concern" found in Japan may impact upon immune response and needs further investigation.
"The more the SARS-CoV-2 virus spreads, the more opportunities it has to change. High levels of transmission mean that we should expect more variants to emerge," said the WHO.
SARS-CoV-2 is the virus which causes Covid-19 disease.
Since first being reported to the WHO on December 14, the British-identified variant VOC 202012/01 has been found in 50 countries, territories and areas, the agency said.
Test results showed the age and sex distribution was similar to that of other circulating variants, while contact tracing data revealed "higher transmissibility (secondary attack rates) where the index case has the variant strain".
The South African-identified variant 501Y.V2, first reported on December 18, has now been detected in 20 countries, territories and areas.
"From preliminary and ongoing investigations in South Africa, it is possible that the 501Y.V2 variant is more transmissible than variants circulating in South Africa previously," the WHO weekly report said.
"Moreover, while this new variant does not appear to cause more severe illness, the observed rapid increases in case numbers has placed health systems under pressure."
The geographical spread of both variants is likely underestimated, said the WHO, given a bias towards detection in countries with virus sequencing capacity.
Japan/Brazil newcomer

Meanwhile the agency said it had been notified by Japan on January 9 of a new variant detected in four travellers arriving from Brazil. The variant was found in two adults and two children.
"This variant has 12 mutations to the spike protein, including three mutations of concern in common with VOC 202012/01 and 501Y.V2" it said, "which may impact transmissibility and host immune response".
The WHO said researchers in Brazil had additionally reported the emergence of a similar variant, which had likely evolved independently of the variant detected in Japan.
"The extent and public health significance of these new variants require further investigation," the report said.
The WHO held a meeting of 1,750 international scientists on Tuesday to discuss critical knowledge gaps and research priorities for emerging variants.
"Our collective goal is to get ahead of the game and have a global mechanism to quickly identify and study variants of concern and understand their implications for disease control efforts," said Ana Maria Henao Restrepo, the WHO's research and development chief.
The WHO said the new variants showed the importance of increasing diagnostic capacity and systematic sequencing of the virus.
"Research is ongoing to determine the impact of new variants on transmission, disease severity as well as any potential impacts on vaccines, therapeutics and diagnostics," the organisation said.
A patient died from a COVID-19 infection at the Port-of-Spain General Hospital yesterday and is believed to have contracted it while being warded there during a recent outbreak in the ward.
Guardian Media understands that the elderly patient, who had comorbidities, was admitted and warded in the old COSTAATT building on December 22 where he was when its third outbreak occurred.
Last week, president of the T&T Registered Nurses Association (TTRNA) Idi Stuart indicated that some 25 nurses and other staff attached to the ward were placed on immediate quarantine leave over two weeks. Since then, at least five have tested positive along with three patients. https://www.guardian.co.tt/news/patient ... c3ca6e4321

I must admit that the circumstances that defines the quality of our existence seems to have become very brutal and this constantly causes me real personal sadness, since simple acts of kindness and consideration for others are too often over-looked.
Our licensing office in Caroni which I visited very recently offers no simple protection from the elements to citizens waiting outside their office and this seems today to be the norm. I stood, I quietly suffered and was moved to real concern for many weaker and older others who confronted the unrelenting sun without a complaint.
Can we not do better with little things to make the average citizen coping ability better?
Covid19 cannot be blamed for our lack of innovativeness and caring.

Post-COVID lungs worse than the worst smokers' lungs, surgeon says
JANUARY 14, 2021 / 8:08 AM / CBS NEWS
A Texas trauma surgeon says it's rare that X-rays from any of her COVID-19 patients come back without dense scarring. Dr. Brittany Bankhead-Kendall tweeted that, "Post-COVID lungs look worse than any type of terrible smoker's lung we've ever seen. And they collapse. And they clot off. And the shortness of breath lingers on... & on... & on."
"Everyone's just so worried about the mortality thing and that's terrible and it's awful," she told CBS Dallas. "But man, for all the survivors and the people who have tested positive this is -- it's going to be a problem."
She's treated thousands of patients since March.
Bankhead-Kendall, an assistant professor of surgery with Texas Tech University, in Lubbock, says patients who've had COVID-19 symptoms show a severe chest X-ray every time, and those who were asymptomatic show a severe chest X-ray 70 to 80% of the time.
"There are still people who say 'I'm fine. I don't have any issues,' and you pull up their chest X-ray and they absolutely have a bad chest X-ray," she said.
In this photo of a normal lung, smoker's lung and a COVID-19 lung that Dr. Bankhead-Kendall shared with CBS Dallas, the healthy lungs are clean with a lot of black, which is mainly air. In the smoker's lung, white lines are indicative of scarring and congestion -- while the COVID lung is filled with white.
"You'll either see a lot of that white, dense scarring or you'll see it throughout the entire lung. Even you're not feeling problems now the fact that that's on your chest X-ray -- it sure is indicative of you possibly having problems later on," Bankhead-Kendall pointed out.
She said it's too early to know the extent of COVID-19's impact on your body or if the scarring will heal, but it's important that if you're experiencing shortness of breath after your COVID-19 goes away, you stay in touch with your primary care doctor.
She adds, "There is no long-term implication of a vaccine that could ever be as bad as the long-term implications of COVID."
