I not defending them Bayside beyotches as it was obviously a party.

But two things, Bayside pool is a shared facility and the signs the residential committee have put up during Covid is simply, 'please ensure social distancing and wash hands', nothing related to crowd size.

Secondly, on many occasions you'll find 10 or more people there as it's a shared pool for over 300+ residents. Now it's obvious this group was having a small party, but many times you'll find just as much persons there. Hard to tell the difference if it's small groups of residents or just one big party.

Lastly, they're on private property where the mask law stops.

It's foolish of them, but that's what complicates this situation for TTPS. Seems to be a loop hole.

This certainly doesn't mean you can legally have house parties. But it does mean that if you live in a gated community you can get away with this...for now.

Shared gated communities are different though, they could regularly have that amount of residents by the pool and it would be entirely legal.

Well that's exactly the loop hole in the law. A gated community technically is owned by the residents and thus not public property. I know at One Woodbrook Place, the residential committee had banned any parties or gatherings. Can't say the same for Bayside but it doesn't seem so.

You can't be living in a gated compound with a hundred other households and consider a shared pool as private.

Its restricted access but definitely not private. I'm sure people in there have never met or been to a large portion of the other households in the compound.
