Renew black plastic trim

Postby aaron17 » July 1st, 2019, 9:21 am

Which product lasts longer to restore the black trim on the car? Tried autoglym vinyl and rubber care, armor all. I heard mothers back to black lasts pretty decent. Thoughts?

subd.
I have some stuff on the van that supposed to be black and it's currently grey :/
was tempted to run some matte black paint on it but I'd likely firetruck it up

The mothers works OK, but it still washes away easy
What i did notice is that it gets better with more frequent applications
So if you put after each wash you will get a better effect over time

I feel thats the best bet tbh, use a good primer and paint it. Just remember matte paint needs special care on it own

303 aerospace protectant works real bess. Apply and leave over night and then reapply the next day. Always worked for me.
If it real faded try Black WOW Trim Restorer, that brought back some seriously faded trim

The 303 or the wow?
I using 303 on my tray cover as recommedned by the manufacturer and i am not impressed.
The mothers back to black worked better, had the leather soft and deep black and used to bead off water like a dasheen leaf.
