Most times because you have fools in a union who say anything after 4pm is overtime rates. never mind the heat stroke/heat exhaustion risk.

I saw a video of a man claiming to be the guy’s father saying that about four different ambulances came out of Paria’s facility when he was trying to enquire about the status of his son.

Was it only his son who had medical issues on that day? Or is Paria keeping quiet about other serious health related issues?

A Tropical Wave is approaching the region. A deteoriation in weather conditions are forecast from Tuesday evening or night.

Periods of heavy rainfall and thunderstorms will lead to flooding, gusty winds expected for Trinidad , Tobago and the Windward Islands over the next 6-7 days at least as multiple features including troughs, the ITCZ and a more favorable atmosphere.

Preparations to preserve life and property should be done soon.

We will have a LIVE update tomorrow afternoon or earlier if weather conditions warrant.

The TT Meteorological Service has issued an Adverse Weather Alert #1 - Yellow Level for Trinidad and Tobago.

Description: Periods of rain and/or showers of varying intensities are expected today (25th October 2022), also with a 70% (high) chance of heavy showers and thunderstorms that can produce intense rainfall in excess of 25mm.

Gusty winds in excess of 55 km/h may be experienced especially in the vicinity of heavy showers/thunderstorms. Street/flash flooding and localized ponding are also likely in heavy downpours. Seas can become agitated at times in sheltered areas. Landslides/landslips are also possible in areas so prone.

Instructions: Do not wade or drive through flood waters. Monitor weather conditions and official updates.

Description: A combination of features, including the ITCZ and a low - level trough, is expected to affect the region. Periods of rain and/or showers of varying intensities are expected, with a high (80%) chance of heavy showers and thunderstorms that can produce intense rainfall in excess of 50mm.

Gusty winds in excess of 55 km/h may be experienced especially in the vicinity of heavy showers/thunderstorms.

Street/flash flooding and localized ponding are also likely in heavy downpours.

Seas can become agitated at times in sheltered areas and landslides/landslips are also possible in areas so prone.

The most significant weather is likely to occur from Wednesday evening (26th). Until then, generally settled conditions will be interrupted by occasional heavy showers and isolated thunderstorm activity.

An active tropical wave, Tropical Wave 47, is approaching the Lesser Antilles. Stronger convection (showers, thunderstorms) are forecast to remain north of the country, affecting the northern Windwards and French Antilles.

For Trinidad and Tobago, active weather is set to trail the wave axis with sporadic showers/thunderstorms today into tonight, with peak inclement weather from Wednesday (tomorrow) through the remainder of the week, as the Intertropical Convergence Zone interacts with a low-level trough and another tropical wave, Tropical Wave 48.
