I saw 21° in Palmiste half 3 this afternoon. Lowest day temp I've ever seen.

Carnival Monday 2012, saw 17° at around 4 in the morning.

In more recent times, been seeing as low as 19° on mornings, but never this cold in the afternoon.

I wonder if the lack of underceiling contributed to that? I have a section in my house to finish...worried now

Tornado?

Darn - looks like a steel roof too. It's usually wooden frame roofs you see blowing off.

Under ceiling is not just for Cooling / insulation ? Anchoring rods / ties supposed to decrease roofs blowing off but could never tell how fast the winds actually were

I was thinking without the underceiling there would be more room under the overhang of the roof to promote lift as the underceiling is usually level .

houses next to it seem unbothered. most likely that roof was not anchored down to the walls/posts sufficiently.

Seems like that roof was just resting on the structure. Anybody seeing any anchor bolts and straps connecting it to the walls/load bearing beams?

There was another picture showing an entire length of I beam with no straps or bolts. Seems as though it was just resting on the walls...
