More like the few elites have realized to retain generational power/wealth they have to keep one half of the population against the other mainly by control of political parties (one more than the other).

It's been working like a dream for the past 150 years or so, but the elites have kept their heads down and never fully acknowledged they how much they benefit. They keep to themselves in their enclaves in the west.

Now with the rise of social media, and that idiot who couldn't help but boast a little for Anthony Bourdain, their sheit is now coming out in the open and the racism which is such a useful tool has to be called out for what it is.
